As a leave voter i suppose this is giving credence to my belief that the BBC is indeed biased.

Pity the remoaners though.

Out of interest, how should any negative consequences of Brexit be reported?

Truthfully.

So as they are now?

Keep telling yourself that if it helps.

But..... Remoaners gotta remoan.

You can repeat this as much as you like, but it doesn't make it true.

They lost, can't get over it. It's time to move on and realise the miss truths perpetrated by the remoaners.

It's antagonistic because you're posting like a tabloid newspaper. If you want to chat with us about Brexit, that's fine, but you'll need to stop calling us 'remoaners' and provide some actual reasons for why you think what you do. We can't debate 'stupid remoaners, mistruths!' because it's not actually a point or argument, it's just angry shouting. Same for 'BBC should just tell the truth!'

We aren't a newspaper comments section or a Facebook page, this is a discussion forum -- a community for people to actually have conversations with each other. If you want to contribute to a discussion on politics here you should be willing to uphold your end of the bargain by engaging with others sensibly and providing interesting input to a conversation.

That being said, my job as a moderator is so much harder when regulars start throwing the c-bomb around. Stop it. If you can't engage with Yungstar without calling him a banana split then you're pulling the same stunt he is. Grow up.

So, the BBC have been lying then have they? Sources? Examples?

So your evidence of the BBC being untruthful and biased is a BBC article? :fp:

I love the fact that on the BBC website there is an article that could suggest they are biased, but they offer no defence and just relay it as news. Hardly the act of a biased organisation.

Yes?

The way he posts is near identical to a lot of other people in this thread. If he'd voted remain and hated the Tories would you still have said that? I doubt it.

I'm sure that you will be able to find examples of posts in here that are "near identical" to the way Yungstar posts?

Typical remoaner lies, arrogance and self importance.

That's just what they want you to think. They have actually secretly written that article with several codes in place - if you decode it then it actually reads "Long live the glorious European Union, down with Britain, up the Islamic empire, down with white men - love from the BBC".

Where are the mistruths in this article?

Aside from this letter stating that the BBC has focused more on people that regret their vote than those that don't (I would like to see the data behind this btw) this basically reads as the government trying to pressurise the BBC to alter it's coverage to make it more favourable to the government as opposed to truthful.

Moreover, where are the government letters to the likes of The Mail, The Sun, The Mirror, The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph and any other outlet you care to mebtion, regardless of political agenda or idealogism, all which are more biased (some openly so) than the BBC.
