Brexiters won't be happy as that means no trade deals unless they align with EU regulations, and Remainers can quite rightly say that we have the same trading relationship but no say on future direction.
It seems that's pretty much what is going to happen. We will lose all of the benefits of being members of the EU but will follow the vast majority of EU rules in order to trade with them.
I assume we will not be contributing to the EU anymore (other than the divorce bill) and so on top of following EU regulations, we will also be paying some sort of tariffs?
I can see the government falling imminently.
You'd think, but none of the hard Leavers seem to want to run the country while we go through Brexit. It's almost like they know how disastrous hard Brexit would be and don't want to be the person in charge if it happened....
