It’s a very surprising turn of events.

Well no. You shouldn't be posting anywhere without strict supervision.

But my point, that you so subtly intentionally misread you cheeky monkey, is that you're a defender of Brexit. And...you're not. Because defending this gooseberry fool is literally indefensible.

Ok, well if you're saying I'm not defending Brexit because it's indefensible then you've made a wrong assumption.

Much like the 52% then?

(And it wasn't an assumption. It is indefensible)

IDS looks like someone insulted him before that interview, and his brain is still trying to process the hurt.

Edit - this slipped by, hilarious scenes.

I'm guessing she has to at least try and make it look like she is paying heed to the concerns of nationalists. Sinn Féin would raise hell if Northern Ireland ended up with a hard border to the Republic because the DUP said no to yesterday's deal. I don't meant a return to IRA violence or anything like that but imagine the anger among their voters, especially when you add in recent difficulties.:dread:

Foster is claiming the DUP only found out about the proposed deal yesterday because the Irish, sorry Dublin, government wouldn't let the British negotiating team share it with the DUP. Naturally the Irish government is denying that but it's still have a very awkward situation.

Davis Farce continues in front of the select committee

There are formal definitions of impact assessments, he says. The work done by the government does not fit those definitions.

But he says the government decided to give the committee the best information it could, or the closest information.

Q: So has the government undertaken an assessment of the impact of Brexit?

Not on a sector by sector basis, Davis says

It's really quite sad. He's laughing along with committee, not realising they're laughing st him.

As far as I'm aware, Brexit talks with the EU continue today. Get this government out. They are gooseberry fool.

With Davies out of the way way gooseberry fool might get done.

Can you imagine in any other line of work making such a drastic decision but not doing any work to see what the impact will be.

Whoever would have thought that asking a failed Tory leadership candidate that thought this picture was a good idea, to negotiate for us would turn out badly?

The assumption you made was that I'd stopped posting because *reason you invented*.

To be honest chum I just really, reeeeeally want you to hop back in and try and defend this shambles.

Please. Pretty please. Give it a go.

The answer will just involve one or more of the following:

Freedom
Democracy
Immigration

If we do not re-vote after this shambles, democracy is broken. Its absolutely disgusting that we can be made to trigger Article 50, and then do NONE OF THE WORK towards actually studying what will happen IF we trigger Article 50.

At this point, Brexit is absolutely indefensible. We must remain and this government propped up by racists must fall.
