Talk to anyone in the world about a UK tea brand and they automatically think Twinings (owned by Associated British Foods - BRITISH is even IN the name). Couldn't even get that right.

This highlights that there is a real shortage of actually 'British' products. The sad thing is that so many UK industries have been sold off to foreign owners and its own government doesn't lift a finger to stop them, probably because they are too busy feathering their own nests. Remember ARM? The crown jewel of the British technology sold off. Yet I remember Brexiters hailing the news as a sign of confidence in Britain; as if a foreign buyer taking advantage of the low value of sterling to takeover one of the country's most important future assets was something to cheer about. Patriots my arse. The same goes for most of major utilities, which are often left in the hands of foreign state owned companies to help subsidise the cost of their own local services.

The irony of the right wing Brexiters is they are the ones who have been selling their own country out for decades.

It says right there that the noble Tayto company of the Republic is allowing the Northerners to use the brand in order to sell their inferior imitation to people who can't get the good stuff.

Barnier's been to Dublin so he has almost certainly had proper Tayto. Giving him a bag of that Northern swill would be an insult.

strawberry float that Yorkshire Tea is clearly the best option. All other tea is inferior.

Worst of all, the top 5 food products the UK exports to the world (Scottish Whisky, Scottish Salmon, craft beer, Thorntons chocolate and Cheddar/Wensleydale/Stilton/Red Leicester Cheeses) don't even appear to be there.

There is a little bit of cheese in the hamper.

Do you ever feel like maybe you're in a coma and your brain is trying to wake you up by making the dream world increasingly ridiculous until you reject reality?

Bariner should look at him and laugh, and say is this it? Is this all you have left? And then walk off.
