Also there is a good chance he trying to get fired from the cabinet so he can blame May for anything that goes wrong with Brexit so he can launch a new leadership challenge.

He’s popular.

Not with anyone outside the country or really inside the Tory party.

He has plenty of support in the party. Enough to win a leadership? Possibly not but he’s not hated. He wins elections and is popular with the electorate.

He has some minor support but apparently isn't well like by either the mainstream of the party or the right wing Euro sceptics. He's been held in place because it's thought he'll do more damage outside the party, where he'll be free to attack the current leadership free from any personal responsibility. He's viewed as very untrustworthy by the majority of the party. He is admittedly very popular with the Brexit voting section of the public.

Well, you seem to know better.

But the fact that he’s popular - not just among Brexit voters but some in the party and membership and he’s good at winning elections is why he's still there. The ones who hate him tolerate him because they prize winning elections quite highly.

All the while business line up to say how disasterous it would be (other than that chap who runs Weatherspoons of course)

You can't even call the Tories the party of the business any more - just ignorant frothing mouth twunts.

Indeed. May and the party tolerated him because they wanted him front and center in last campaign because he was polling so well with the electorate.

Oh...

To be fair a lot of the signatories of that letter are Labour.

Neither party has a monopoly on stupidity at the moment.

Yes. Boris cost us the General Election.

He certainly won the referendum that’s got you all in such a froth didn’t he?

My point was he was sidelined and locked away from view because he wasn't viewed a popular/attractive to the wider electorate - so the recent evidence unsurprisingly completely contradicted your assertions.

It’s amazing how a change in Tory policy makes Denster completely change his view on things. It’s like he forgets that he is a Remainer.

Ahh but just like Theresa May, Denster has decided that it is better to screw the country as it would be wrong to be a saboteur and that the will of the people should be carried out in a red, white and blue Brexit that means Brexit with no deal if that is better than a bad deal.

That letter is insane. If May was to pay even the slightest bit of heed to that nonsense she should be thrown out of office immediately. I'm confident she'll throw that garbage in the bin where it belongs but the willingness some of these hard Brexiteers are showing to seriously harm the economy in the name of Breixt is almost scary.

Hoey is on the Northern Ireland Affairs committee and is backing a plan that will guarantee the return of a hard border which even the DUP are saying would be a very bad thing. Lunatic.

Train journey with no signal. An hour later - six quote notifications- all in this thread.
I knew who they’d be from and what they’d say.
The same old circular argument from the same little whiny remoaners.

Pattern of the thread. Ad Infinitum.

I’ll be glad to get back to work and leave you to it.
Don’t ever change.
