A trade deal won't happen unless the DUP swallow their pride and agree to an Irish sea border. They are letting spurious things like sovereignty and nationalism hurt the country economically, despite Northern Ireland voting to remain. This is not 'the will of the people'. Ireland and the EU said months ago that the Irish Border had to be resolved before trade talks, why have the Brexit lunatics only now realised this?

Clearly the obvious solution is for South Ireland to rejoin the UK, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland can once again rule the world. [/ukip]

The Tories will never allow a sea border between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK, regardless of what the DUP wants.

If a hard border breaches the good friday agreement a sea border may have to be the only answer legally. This would set up a minefield of crap and could delay Brexit for years, a kind of a silver lining perhaps?

They are planning on draining the Irish Sea and will then pay for Brexit by selling the extra land that is created.

And as crazy as that idea sounds, it makes more sense than current government policy.

Hammond has pledged £3bn for Brexit preparations in the Budget today, also says he's ready to allocate more if needed and that the government would prepare for "every possible outcome".

Does this mean that Leavers can now shut the strawberry float up about “George Osborne’s emergency budget to deal with Brexit never happened!!!”? ;)

Don't say that too loudly Moggy. The leave side might hear you and think it's the best plan ever.

But it is a good plan. Think about it.

All that extra land for building homes solves the housing crisis.

All that extra land sold will pay off the deficit/any shortfall post Brexit.

All that extra land means that Northern Ireland is joined to the UK.

The Isle of Man will become a mountain, how cool to have all those people living at the top of a mountain!

Ahh, I hear you say, but what do we do with all that water? Well first we filter out the salt for our BRITISH fish and chips. The water is then drinkable and we sell it to North Africa to pour over the Sahara, which creates extra farmland for them and in gratitude they will give us an amazing trade deal that will make the EU jealous.

There are zero downsides to this plan.

I feel like I should step away from Brexit as a whole because it is probably making my blood turn into lava.

So much stupidity. I just cannot deal.

Edit - strawberry float, I've changed my mind, that plan is incredible. I'd vote for it.

This country voted out so that we could drain the Irish Sea. Not draining the Irish Sea is a BETRAYAL of voters and means the government hates democracy. :x

You forgot about the potential shipwrecks full of gold!

Brexit redeemed, let's fund our NHS with gold coins instead!

And we can run a successful 'pick your own fish' business for at least the first couple of days.

Moggy, I promise, if I am ever prime minister I will dedicate 100% of this country's budget to draining the Irish Sea.
