Why did only the Brexit committee get to decide on whether he was in contempt or not?

It shouldn't be a matter for other MPs, it should be a matter for a judge.

Agreed, it's just yet another way that they can avoid any actual oversight and concequence of their actions.

The more if this that happens the less faith I have in the lot of them, I can see future elections being shut turn outs because this gooseberry fool show will have shot to gooseberry fool the faith in democracy for a lot of people.

Party politics is more important than what the person actually believes in why else would so many mps blindly back Brexit when they don't even believe in it for example.

The revelations with DD are incredible. When the government decided to leave the single market and customs union they signalled a time of profound change and readjustment for the UK economy, yet apparently they have not bothered researching what impact that change might have and what measures might be needed to deal with. Even undergrads have a basic knowledge of how to address challenges: you access the problem, draw up a plan of action and then continuously reassess and adjust your plan until your goals are met. Since the government has not done any assessment, that can only mean they have no plan beyond vaguely "winging it" and some collection of patriotic sounding rhetoric. This is seriously back-of-a-fag-packet gooseberry fool.

Seriously, I don't care if you voted leave or remain, everyone should be strawberry floating furious with these morons. I cannot believe that anyone who voted leave intended for it to be managed this incompetently.

I am ashemed to be part tit country right now.

I've said it before but even people wanting out should see that this isn't how it should be done and should be against this government taking us out in this way.

I think I meant " I am ashamed to be part of this country" or something along those lines.

I know what you meant. I was referring to your typing in general, not just there.
