Pantomime level stuff from the audience and Alex Salmond.

This is the worst debate show I've ever seen. And I watched The Pledge last week.

Nice .

This kind of thing just doesn't work, does it. Having said that, I'm even more 'In' than I was before, so maybe it has done its job.

The format isn't terrible, but the moderation and control is awful. People shouting over one another, and even having the mic passed to them when they do so.

That guy asking Victoria Derbyshire to come abroad with him.

How long until someone claims the BBC planted a bunch of non-photogenic, ineloquent dickheads in the leave audience? Vile bunch.

Former SNP leader Alex Salmond has said he would expect another referendum on Scottish independence within two years of a Brexit vote, in a BBC EU debate.
He said if Scotland is "dragged out" of the EU "against our will" on 23 June, he believed there would be another vote - and it would back independence.

Has Alex Salmond just motivated anyone in Scotland who wants to leave the UK to vote Leave? I don't see any other opportunity to get another Scottish referendum.

I think that would kind of defeat the point as if the majority of Scots voted leave as well then the argument that we were being "dragged out of the EU against our will" would be nullified.

From memory Salmond said that if Scotland voted Remain but England "dragged us down" then that would trigger another independence vote.

Scotland voting out would therefore not trigger another Scottish vote.

The irony being that voting to leave the UK would achieve exactly the same effect anyway.

Good excuse to install more wind turbines though. We can use them as propellers to take the UK over to the Caribbean.
