The Irish passport is one of the most valuable in the world according to a new study.

Henley Passport Index shows that it can gain visa-free access to 173 countries.

The figure is one up from last year and puts it alongside South Korea and the US.

German passports are the most powerful in the world and can gain visa-free access to 177 countries.

Yeah but they aren't blue so what's the point?

Also looks like all our worries are over.
They've found the solution to making the EU cave to all our demands!

Ireland’s isn’t worse, the German passport just means visa free travel because otherwise they’d send in the panzers.

Nah, I think they get visa free travel because people are just too embarrassed to ask a German "where are your papers?"

The most half-arsed hamper I've ever seen.

Worst of all, the top 5 food products the UK exports to the world (Scottish Whisky, Scottish Salmon, craft beer, Thorntons chocolate and Cheddar/Wensleydale/Stilton/Red Leicester Cheeses) don't even appear to be there.
