Bee's are already there. Can't change that.
You might as well deal with it healthily and just ignore.

Stop with the arguing, antagonising and piss-taking. It's making me very upset.

Look we aren't going to agree and you guys are clearly not going to stop so I suppose i'll just have to do what you cant and accept something I cannot change or do anything about. That this thread is going to periodically experience rainfall of yours and DML's ass tears.

I think you read me wrong Denster.

I'm strawberry floating jubilant at the moment!

I see views changing and a government being held to account and people no longer blowing smoke up fake Thatchers ass, its strawberry floating wonderful. If you think I'm crying over Brexit, understand that I am taking similar joy over the election result and what this may mean for the future of government in this country. I actually feel some hope for once. You may want to paint me as being a constant misery, but actually - I smell blood and I think we can get at least a soft Brexit. Even that is a million miles from what we thought we might get in Maytopia not that long ago.

If it turns out that Brexit is great then that's fine.

If it turns out that Brexit is a bit of a dog's dinner and people want to get back into the EU then that'll put an end to Euroscepticism.

Backtracking on the referendum result with some sort of fudge just lets Euroscepticism fester on for a few more years before an inevitable Brexit at a later date.

Spot on.

Don't know how I ended up in this thread. It's just too depressing, even at the moment.

The problem with this argument is that the approach given is not a zero sum game. It is likely that by leaving the EU we could do profound and lasting damage to our economy that would not be reversed by returning to the EU. For example, if we lost a huge chunk of the financial services sector because we are no longer a gateway and so lots of the banks move their operations to Frankfurt or Paris, we could lose 5% of GDP. Such services would not come back even if we re-entered the EU.

Is that implying that I take joy from the leave vote? Not at all.

I'm happy to leave the argument for another day - lets face it this has cropped up before and will crop up again. Obviously our views of the election result differ but the less biased version of me recognises that it's better for the country that we now have a viable opposition in place. I'm not too despondent. May reaped what she sowed in that election and her arrogance and ineptitude have bitten her on the ass. If that results in a soft brexit then so be it.

Cameron called for across party consultation and negotiating team - given the results of the election I wouldn't be averse to that.

To answer your first sentence at least, I wasn't inferring you were getting joy. I only said I was.

Uh, so given the current situation, I think I had better take out all my holiday money this weekend. It's not for another month but I don't see anything unexpected happening at the negotiations that could actually improve sterling any and plenty of opportunities for it to take a plunge.

So, I see roaming charges have been abolished in Europe today. Wish those meddling European bigwigs would butt out of our business. Who do they think they are, making things better for us. :x
