But what can you do, even if you are of the opinion that he is lying there is nothing you can do. A lying politician, well I never!

Say it after me... 'I was wrong'.

It's not so hard.

CRD has a good get out though. He wants Brexit but with Corbyn as PM. So he can never be "wrong" because Corbyn will never be PM.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-41306354

BBC article on this latest Boris claim, they note the difference with the term "take back control of £350m" that I mentioned in my previous posts. This is why I think this can't be classed an outright lie. Misleading yes, I have never agreed with Boris pushing the £350m figure. But if you feel it's a lie then that's fine, I really don't think it's worth debating as I'm not in agreement with Boris on that figure anyway!

When you say "wrong", what do you mean? I don't believe I have ever agreed with the £350m figure or that particular tactic of the leave campaign to push that message. But what do you expect, it was a Tory campaign!

And yes, I support the old Labour left wing opinion of the EU. Interesting how Labour have moved to the right on that issue but I get called right wing!

The problem is there is no £350 million to take back control of. We have control of the rebate which is subtracted before we send any money. The figure that we pay the EU is £248 million a week, so if he said "let's take back control of £248 million a week." he wouldn't have been strictly lying but he didn't.

The £350 million is the figure is the figure we are meant to send to the EU but we get a rebate that is taken out before any money is sent. Also a lot of the money comes back to the UK in grants, so the actually operating saving would be around 120 million a week. Although I'm sure you already knew that.

No. I didn't. I don't actually concern myself with the minutiae of things like this.

I know to the day how old Frodo is. Stuff like that. I couldn't care less about the sum.

It was one of the main arguments during the Brexit referendum. I don't really understand how anyone who watched any news on the issue could not understand it. It was repeated ad nauseum.

I fully understand it. I just didn't know the exact figures. You assumed that I did.

You shouldn't make assumptions. Not when you clearly expect such precision in others.

People really just need to get more fun out of life. While it's still cheap to do so.

You realise that the people with the problem are the accountants and department managers who have to work out how to cut spending in other areas so you can have your pay rise.

Also the hashtag starts with a hash, it doesn't finish with one.

Yes I do and no I didn't.

Let's just assume I know enough that you don't need to keep telling me. I've worked for the NHS for a long time. I'm intimately acquainted with a lot of it.

Sorry I was a department manager so that was quite annoying when I've spent long periods of times trying to balance the departments budget. Fortunately I don't work there any more so don't have to deal with it. I've heard things have gotten a lot worse since my time.

No worries mate. Mine was a flippant riposte to Hypes. Not meant as a dig.

It's a different situation for me as I work for a foundation trust and there is always the opportunity for overtime and getting a lot of extras for unsocial hours.

I'm not sure what you're particular place was but I'm sure it's got worse not better.

Don't worry about it.

I know people who still work there, apparently it's become far harder to run departments because of the lack of funding. Also the hospital has been put into special measures. So I'm really glad I got out of there.

Apparently, the head of the official leave campaign has openly criticised the governments handling of Brexit.

It's amazing that people will look at this and convince themselves because 'the media' that everything is going swimmingly. strawberry floating terrifying. All because people can't look in the mirror and admit they did something stupid.

I've started to find it quite funny because all these politicians I hate are going to absolutely destroy themselves. Each and every one of them will get their comeuppance for truly letting this country down. All except Cameron who let's not forget caused the whole sorry shitshow. I'd spare May for him to get comeuppance instead.

Irs Alice In Wonderland politics. We might as well vote on whether we all get to fly or be invisible. Utter nonsense.
