I love the casual admission of the terrible position they have helped put the UK in:

"The effects of a 'hard Brexit' could be catastrophic." Thanks, but it might have been good if the Sun had admitted this before the referendum.

BBC News wrote:Ex-Tory minister Anna Soubry says her office has received 13 death threats since a newspaper front page named her as one of 15 "Brexit mutineers".

The pro-EU Remain supporter said the police took the threats seriously and had passed two cases to prosecutors.

She said she had been "really quite frightened" and blamed the threats on Wednesday's Daily Telegraph front page.

The paper's editor defended what he called "the legitimate actions and language of a free press".

The story concerned Conservative MPs planning to rebel against the government's bid to enshrine the precise date of Brexit in law.

Speaking on Broadcasting House on BBC Radio 4, Ms Soubry said her office had told her of the 13 death threats.

"That's just astonishing, isn't it?" she said.
"The police take it seriously - it's not nice, it's not acceptable and it's not necessary."

Ms Soubry had previously described the headline as a "blatant piece of bullying".

And yet no action will be taken against the Telegraph for that headline beyond maybe being told to print an apology that will be on page 27 in a tiny little corner.

Barnier turns to financial services.
He says when the UK leaves the EU, City firms will lose their financial passports.
The EU will never compromise on financial stability, he says.
The integrity of the single market is not negotiable, he says.

It was always going to be the case that London would lose its passport rights how anyone could argue otherwise is beyond me. The argument against losing it was always that the EU doesn't have to take them away, of course that's technically correct as the EU has the choice but they were always going to make the decision to take it away.

Like a lot of other Brexit issues, the expectation was that the EU would bend over backwards to figure out solutions.

Kinda reminds me of that scene in Alan Partridge where Tony Hayes tells Partridge he won't get a second series.

That same, naive expectation that the powers that be will just agree to something that isn't even in their best interests.

What will actually be done in the event they are found guilty of wrong doing?

These things seem to happen after every election and everyone the Tories get a fine and any results made bullshit by cheating remains.

Unless the result is over returned what's the point, it all becomes an accepted cost of victory for the wrong doer and nothing that would prevent someone doing it again happens.

EU medicines agency has left London and is going to Amsterdam.

No idea how many job losses this might mean. From previous reports I think the agency are keen to retain staff so they may offer relocation for some, but that wouldn't take into account support staff like cleaners/caterers/security/IT most likely, so we're probably still looking at a few hundred losses even with relocations.

I probably wouldn't notice any mistake if I did so no.

Reread that and don't think there is anything mega wrong so get over it and don't feel the need to keep point it out thanks.

One of the more obvious moves, yet some still thought we could keep it here.

David Davis being one of them.
He insisted that any relocation of EU agencies would be part of the exit negotiations and wouldn't happen.

There's also the new elections looking likely in Germany. German popular opinion is for few to no concessions to the UK in negotiations, so for any party to even hint that they'll 'go easy' on the UK is just throwing votes away. And yet German industry was supposed to be the big Leave trump card to get Merkel and therefore the entire EU on board....

European Banking Authority is moving to Paris.

For both Banking and Medicine voting came to a draw and they literally picked a name out of a hat.
