I'd wager about a week after concrete proof of the existence of the Loch Ness monster is unveiled.

But, but, we already know Theresa May exists.

Yes but our will of the people is clearly more important than the will of the German people. Who do they think won World War 2 after all?

In all seriousness what concessions are they referring too? I haven't seen any mention of us asking for any.

There has been some suggestion in the past that we may seek access to the single market without freedom of movement. I think this is the concession many Europeans will be strongly against.

Ok I didn't think of that, yes that would be a concession. But I suppose the uk government would call it a concession if it was flipped the other way and we had to agree to free movement.

Us agreeing to free movement would be a good thing though, so May would never go for it on that basis alone.

So will conservatives be for or against the big finance companies when they all leave for Germany and France? This must be a very confusing time for them.

The banks aren't leaving London, they're just relocating some of their staff and setting up additional offices, which is to be expected.

I'm part of a remainer group and there are people learning German and Spanish with a plan to leave the UK.

I don't blame them planning it, they may well be deported in a couple of years.

You keep saying that like taking back control should lead to cheaper prices or something. It reminds me a bit of "Our soldiers need vests not an alternative voting system".

Meant to reply to this before but the thread got clogged with shite.

We are supposed to be better off out of Europe according to the Brexit camp, so I want cheaper prices for goods, higher wages, better public services AND MORE. I want my life to get better. I don't think it will, that's why I voted Remain, but now it's happening I don't want excuses. I want results.

Did the campaign for Brexit promise higher wages and lower prices? I don't recall these things being promised.

Yes?

They said we would be better off, so unless they planned of giving everyone free money that statement would require wages to go up and/or prices to go down.

"Better off" is deliberately vague.

Yes?
