We've not just blinked first, we've shut our eyes, turned away and buried our face in our hands. Appalling capitulation....
So ' Brexit Means Brexit' does it Mrs May? Only if it has been rewritten by Hammond & the rest of the arch Remainers that is! 'No Deal Is Better Than A Bad Deal'? If this is TM ''s idea of a good deal then we really haven't got a prayer! EU negotiations have been a cat & mouse game from the start & Mrs May is very much the timid mouse in front of a predatory EU cat. This speech to kick start trade talks is a surrender & a capitulation which shows desperation & an absence of strategy. TM has betrayed Brexit & has forfeited the right to any trust or respect. Shameful!
Project Betrayal has been in operation since the referendum results were announced.
It's been 15 months since then and they are still faffing about.
If May really meant Brexit means Brexit, we would have Jacob Rees Mogg, with Farage and Daniel Hannan as consultants, in charge of negotiations.
It would be all over by Christmas.
Just take the WTO arrangements. They're good enough for most of the EU's 10 major trading partners (China, USA, Japan, Russia etc.). The GBP is already 15% undervalued. Seeing out the EU budget period for £18bn is sensible. Perhaps the £8bn of pensions too. After that, the EU Commission can look for their £100bn elsewhere.
When the EU project collapses and the chaos creates much fear among the population of europe. At least her majesty's government can say they tried their best from to the beginning till the end to limit its impact. What ever happens, this is all on those co--upted politicians in Brussels. And not democracy.
Remember the BS before the EU Referendum when Drunkard and Co said ''Just go,we don't need you''. They haven't stopped crying ever since. What mugs decided it was a good idea to trade goods and 'migrants'? Government figures suggest we have 3.2 million living here. Remember that's 'government figures, so you can double that. Lets be frank, you can't move without hearing a e a s t European.
