People are genuinely scared of whats going to happen, they are fearful of employment, possible civil issues and also what impact it will have on their children. I think the anger comes from the lack of empathy for these views and massively ignoring facts which just compounds this feeling.

Speaking for myself, the lack of specifics about the border which is 50 miles up the road from my house is maddening.

Well I've done a formal investigation and it seems you started the who-should-read-which-book debate...?

This thread is an absolute train wreck of remain voter insults and hostilities. I'm happy to discuss with anyone on PMs but I'll be taking no further part in this thread which has become a nasty little echo chamber.

You've no levity, tolerance (especially) civil points, or substance. I'm glad you'll be ignoring me in future; go use the saved time to read a book on emotional development.

Seeing as things like europe and leaving europe are human-created constructs, if the human race just ceased to exist then everything would work out fine.

Probably easier than facing up to facts.

Bye Lucien. I don't know how we'll decide which books to read without your sagacious suggestions but we will have to manage somehow.

Typical snowflake Brexiters. Can't stand discussing the gooseberry fool storm they've voted to make happen.

I think it is a shame that this thread is proving to be increasingly hostile. Such a passionate topic is, of course, going to get a little heated at times but, reading over the past few pages, it seems that there could be value in holding off and taking a breather rather than reading something and hastily posting a response.

I guess it is always going to be rather tense when someone has a view that differs from that of the majority of the regular participants in the thread but there would seem to be a danger that some of the responses probably aren’t a good thing for the forum as a whole.

This whole thing is strawberry floating ridiculous and should never been up for a public vote, there are too many lives at risk for such madness.

I am really sorry you have to go through that mate, with children in the mix as well. I sympathise, I can't imagine how much more livid I'd be if it were potentially messing with my kids' lives. :(

Cheers, yeah it's a strawberry floating nightmare to be honest, no idea what the future holds is quite scary. If I could get a job in Sweden, I'd be off like a shot and try and get citizenship there, but the competition in Stockholm in the tech industry is more competitive than it is in Cambridge. I really should have become fluent in Swedish by now, but then I think about the fact my mum is disabled and my siblings are strawberry floating useless I can't really just up and leave.

Not in this thread. The religion goes in one direction (you're not included in that, I know you're reasonable).

I agree with BID0, both sides avidly believe they are right, the probably I face is I don't ever see a reason why leaving is good, or at least one that I can go "I guess I can see how you would think that is good" and whenever someone offers something they get pissed off that someone dare question them.

No brexit person is going to say why it is good and everyone agree there is too much genuine worry, concern and panic. However, getting shirty because you get questioned isn't going to help the view that brexit voters dont have a clue and don't have a valid argument.

I think leaving is insanity, I'm not going to get booted out or loose family members etc. but this is literally going to rip families and lives apart and no one can give a good enough reason why I should be cool with that, every argument ends up boiling down to, well you lost so you should be positive.

for the record that was aimed at the people who labelled me as such in the KFC thread ;)

Topics like these can't be discussed on a games forum as has been proved a few times recently. Probably needs locking.
