We will not leave without a deal. It is all posturing.

I think you underestimate just what a bunch of incompetent twats we have in government at the moment.

They have hardly any time left to strike a deal. Do you think they are going to grab one at the last minute or do you think they already have one and are pretending that they don't for the lols?

They will grab a poor deal last minute.

There is a town on the Canadian-American border that's a bit like that. The high street literally straddles the boarder and at one point the US immigration service started arresting people for crossing the road without a passport.

Well that sounds like a 100% set in concrete prediction.

The signs are all pointing to there being no deal.

Yeah there one on the spain and French border too. I get that one as the village was first settled before the border was cited there. I wonder when the house in Northern Ireland and it’s extension were built. If the extension has happened since the border was placed there how and why on Earth did that happen?

And you are basing that on the competence shown by the current top table of the government?

Everything at the moment points to there being no deal. I have zero confidence in Davis to deliver anything.

I have zero confidence they will get a good deal. They will have to take a deal however because anything else is Alice in Wonderland. It doesn't make any sense. The country will not be able to function. They may well take 'a deal' and dress it up like its no deal, but a gooseberry fool deal will be made and it will be shiiiit.

This is more you being hopeful than anything that is going to happen though.

There is zero evidence Davis is trying to make a deal.

There is zero evidence the government will accept a deal.

There is zero evidence that Parliament will not vote against a bad deal.

Sure a deal might happen, but I am not overly confident about that based on the current evidence.

Look, I'm as anti Brexit as you. I may even be more so.

But at the end of the day, there comes a point where the stupidity stops. If this country is ACTUALLY STUPID enough to do a cliff edge Brexit, I would be amazed. Its incredibly concerning its still even on the table though, and I think the fact its still on the table is a woeful terrible sign of whats to come...but ultimately I don't think its what we're going to end up with. It'll be a really shitty deal painted as a victory for Brexiteers instead. It will fool very few.

It isn't really about being stupid enough, it is about the leaders having the nads enough to turn round to the loud mouth idiots and the papers and say "no, this is a bad idea, it is going to harm us more than it gains and it we don't want to risk peoples lives because if we dont you will destroy us in print".

I will be surprised if they get past the border issue, I don't think it's solveable. I don't think there will be a deal.

More so? I’ve actually changed nationality because of all this, let’s not get into a Brexit dick measuring contest.

You’re confusing what you want with what will happen. Of course a deal is the best thing (other than scrapping it!) but there’s zero evidence that Davis is actually working towards that.

You are also missing the point that this country is stupid enough to have no deal.

And half the country will cheer them on for doing it.

I think you've underestimated just how much your average Brit hates foreign people.

Where did you get your accurate reading of how much the "average" person hates foreign people?

You're right, I shouldn't have included those who voted remain into that statement. Apologies.

I think you misunderstand me.

I don't think they will turn around and say 'f*** you' to the hardcore. I just think they will make a deal of some form and make it seem we are totally independent.
