It isn't really about being stupid enough, it is about the leaders having the nads enough to turn round to the loud mouth idiots and the papers and say "no, this is a bad idea, it is going to harm us more than it gains and it we don't want to risk peoples lives because if we dont you will destroy us in print".

I will be surprised if they get past the border issue, I don't think it's solveable. I don't think there will be a deal.
