The SNP are going to go strawberry floating mental.

Then they'll hear about the NI deal and get upset.

Our Taoiseach to make a statement at 2:30 today, sounds like its good news.

Dat position of strength.

But hey, NI could benefit greatly from this. Can't wait for the DUP's response. I'm guessing the Tory Government will throw more money at them.

If Northern Ireland can stay in the single market, then it is absolutely ridiculous if Wales, England and Scotland cannot as well. I shouldn't be a second class citizen with less rights than anyone else in the country.

What an odd predicament.

Taoiseach's speech delayed to align with a speech from Brussels.

Lol at threatening to veto anything when the Assembly isn't up and running, but can they even veto it? We couldn't veto leaving the EU. Also, wouldn't the Assembly just collapse again if they tried it?

"Hello Michelle, Arlene here"
"HelloArlene, whatdoyouwant?"
"I'd like to get the Assembly going again"
"IsthisjustbecauseyouwanttotryandvetotheBrexitdeal?"
"Yes, I mean no, I've just remembered that I actually love the Irish language and gay rights are great"
"...."
"Are you still there Michelle?"

Looks like the UK is trying hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of NI victory right now. Brexiteers, DUP, and Remainers wanting the same deal as NI might potentially get are all kicking up a fuss. Reality is whatever kind of Brexit we get, someone will be angry. May will have to make a decision at some point.

I’m now oddly on the DUP side.

I don’t want to leave at all, but if we have to suffer then so should Northern Ireland.

It’s not that I am heartless, more spiteful and vindictive. ;)
