When the Foreign Secretary gets to keep his job after he strawberry floats up so badly that a British citizen gets an extra 5 years in an Iranian prison, then you know that there is no accountability anymore.

When the chief of negotiations says that he has done impact assessments a few times, then that moves to 'it is not a case that they exist', and then they don't exist anymore. And he escapes with his job intact.

When the Prime Minister calls an early election to "strengthen her hand" and ends up making herself weaker. And then stays in the job.

When one of your cabinet ministers gets caught with porn on his work computer and deflects attention away from himself by throwing shade at the police officer who discovered it. All this after alleged dodgy behaviour.

When an MP looks up a huge amount of porn on the office system and isn't fired ...

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Lies, there is no sectoral analysis. DD said so himself, we know he’s trustworthy.

I can imagine his aids rushing around desperately trying to compile these after he lied about them on national TV. Kind of feel sorry for them.

Thank goodness. We took back control of the colour of our passport. Really makes the incoming economic crisis worthwhile.
