Some Leavers have been saying that “we can bring back Churchill’s favourite drink – pints of champagne!”

I guess this will all work in favour of that. The French might not want to make pint sized champagne bottles and so we will now be able to make our own champagne in proper pints!

Regarding roaming charges, if "certain networks" already overlook the whole "EU digital market" thing with Switzerland, can we assume they'd do it for the UK as well?

Switzerland is in the single market (with the exception of banking) though.

I wouldn’t be expecting networks to ignore roaming charges if we end up with hard Brexit.

It's alright, we probably won't be able to get to Europe anyway. They won't less us there because they think we are bellends.

Yeah individual networks will be able to make their own decisions on what they do and don’t charge for. I wouldn’t assume it will last for very long if there is a hard Brexit though, there could be all sorts of new rules on mobile communications, trade wars, trade tariffs etc. 3 might suck it up for a bit, but they will be relying on what the UK government, the UK and the European networks actually do.

No deal could mean no planes so you might be right there.

Let’s brick up the Channel Tunnel, sink all of the boats and scrap all of the planes. It’s about time we went back to pre-Roman invasion Britain and stopped all this travelling to the continent rubbish. :x

3 do their Feel at Home for a lot of non European countries as well though like America, so I wouldn't be surprised for them to not change anything regarding EU roaming.

3 are a huge ass global company, they will probably stay free as you will still be on their network when abroad, for others though charges will come in as EE say will have to pay for access to run over EU networks.

I'm on 3 but they're not a network in Germany so my mobile bill would be huge without the ban on roaming charges

3 added Germany to their Feel at Home countries before the abolition of roaming charges came in so you should be fine.
