We don’t know what is going to happen to Northern Ireland and the border there, so it is kind of hard to say what Brexit will cause.

A European wanting to live in the UK could possibly move to N Ireland, but it would seem a very odd and long winded way of doing it.

British people might want to move there and try and get Irish citizenship for themselves or their kids, but again there are probably easier ways of doing it.

I liked his comment about the Olympics/doping. If someone's caught doping, you don't ask "did it affect the outcome" before taking action, they're disqualified.

It’s impossible to know if Leave would have won without all of the lies like the Boris bus and the CA/Facebook stuff. Maybe the result would have been identical? Maybe it would have been a little closer but with Leave still edging it?

I somehow doubt it though, I think the targeting of people via social media and the brazen lies that were told convinced a lot of people to vote Leave. And I also think it all helped convince a lot of people not to vote. Were the (roughly) third of the voters that didn’t vote just lazy, or were some of them persuaded that it wouldn’t be too bad either way? Extra money for the NHS, trade deals around the world, no Turkish people coming in under freedom of movement and boom time for manufacturing, farming and fishing?

I think a lot of people in the middle just figured that it didn’t really matter, either things would stay the same or there would be other opportunities that would stop anything bad happening. Without the lies and the CA data theft, maybe they would have been listening to people who warned them that things were not going to be the way that serial liar Johnson was telling them.

We will never know of course and more worryingly I don’t think the government will ever risk letting people decide again, even though people are now far more informed on what everything means.

The problem is the whole concept of Brexit is one big massive lie, never mind little lies about it. To get 52% to vote for it is like getting 52% to vote the Earth is flat or that global warming doesn't exist.

The concept itself isn’t a lie. Britain could leave the EU with no deals and no agreements and be a nation without any ties to any other. That is possible and is not a lie like a flat Earth or pretending that global climate change isn’t happening.

The lies come from taking the above and convincing people that it is a good idea. Not just a good idea, but the only possible rational idea. An idea that will make everyone better off and richer and freer. That’s the lie.
