Verstappens progress is mighty impressive but it really highlights the performance gap between the top six and the rest.

Mercedes strategy decisions have been baffling. If they had pitted Hamilton right after Vettel they'd be home and hosed. Making a balls of Bottas as well.

The 1-2 was there for the taking for Mercedes today. Won despite their strategy not because of it.
Bottas was shafted badly.
