Was going to get for the race and watch this year, but after seeing all the teams do the "we aren't where we want to be, might not got pole but we will be in the next pack" gooseberry fool just makes me think sod it for another year....

I'd watch on NowTV so could watch a later show maybe.

But now it looks like another year of Mercedes show I'm not sure I can be arsed.

I guess he is out of Rosberg's shadow now. People will just be saying "you only won because Rosberg is no longer in the sport". It will be crushing.

Yes?

Hopefully Ferrari will build on their progress this year, would be nice to see some battle first first and not just assume a merc win.

They may not be as fast, but they seem at least at a point they can do stuff with strategy and take advantage of the breakdowns Hamilton will inevitably have.

Just under 3 tenths between them, nothing really. That kind of margin could simply be down to the Merc suiting the track. Of course, it could be close because it suits the Ferrari but there is reason for optimism at least!

Just thinking if Fernando Alonso stayed with Ferrari and he could be up there with Lewis Hamilton.

Alonso - he's only the one I feel he could achieve much more with a better car but he's happy with McLaren.
