After that poem I expect he is looking for a duet with Elton John, and then maybe some sexy time.

Lewis is supreme. Everyone else is struggling, the track wasn't improving, and he just chucks out a lap a second faster than anybody else.

Immense.

Half the grid have grid-place penalties.

Magnussen out in Q1 starts P9.

Didn't think this or Belgium were that bad to be honest. It's a bit like 2004 where the races were quite good from 3rd place down.

Hamilton is certainly hitting his form again, needs to keep his head at the trickier races. When his car hasn't been great this year he seems to have over driven it.

Looks like the McLaren-Renault deal is imminent with Sainz now having signed to join Renault.

McLaren better hope they produce a decent car next year as they wont be able to hide their failings by blaming Honda anymore.

Apparently Renault are going to split with Red Bull from 2019, Renault's decision too. That would most likely leave Red Bull with Honda engines, unless VW or another manufacturer decides to enter the fray. Interesting! I hope both Honda and Renault get their act together, it would be great for the sport to have more than two competitive engines.

Cosworth are interested in returning to F1 however i believe the talk was of 2021 so 2019 is probably too soon. Actually you said competitive engine so forget that :P

Mclaren and Honda are parting ways at the end of the season. With Renault leaving in 2019 will we end up with only Mercedes and Ferrari engines soon?

Renault aren't leaving in 2019, just leaving Red Bull. Unless I missed a major announcement somewhere!

Did anyone else see Lewis Hamilton being interviewed by Sky during the fan parade stuff? The journalist had been interviewing Vettel until Hamilton interrupted and Vettel drove off. At this point the journalist attempts to interview Hamilton and gets into Hamilton's car like she had just done with Vettel and Ricciardo before and he became quite difficult, obviously annoyed and doing his best to avoid answering any of her questions. He also made it clear that she'd be in trouble later for 'invading his space'. Such a humourless, graceless bellend.
