Yep it was before the chicane which was put in after Senna's death as that video shows Spa was alot more narrower back then as they were still public roads up until it got made into the permanent track which it is now after the last circuit upgrade in the mid 00's

That chicane at eau rouge was awful, thankfully it was removed by the following year.

So George Russel at Williams for next year, wonder who they'll get in the other seat. Surely Ocon has to get a seat somewhere doesn't he?

Sadly, i suspect Ocon will be out of a drive, much like Pascal Wehrlein who also deserves a place in F1 (he scored points in a Manor for crying out loud!).

I do wonder if it was Wehrlein's odd attitude problems that left him without a drive. I recall one race where the engineers were adamant about shutting off his power unit to prevent damage yet he insisted carrying on. No doubt he at least deserved a chance in a slightly more competitive car considering his points finishes in the Manor and Sauber.

Great video that, '91 was my first season following F1.

Back to the present meanwhile, looks like sunday's race has already been spoiled thanks to a stupid grid penalty for Vettel.

I wouldn't say it's been spoiled, Hamilton's won the WDC already barring a miracle for Vettel and Ferrari on the off chance Hamilton breaks down for the next 3 races. Once the WDC is decided they really should make the top 3 teams start from the back just to spice the races up.

That was a very fast moving last couple of minutes of Q1! Alonso looked safe when he did that lap!

Well that was expected, Ferrari seems to have found some pace this weekend though.
