Ferrari with a button hidden on the wheel under the grip silicone that's giving them great starts.

"Within the regulations"

Hidden away.

Missed the first 25 laps and it doesn't look like I missed anything decent.

Been terrible so far, don't see anything major changing in the last 10 laps.

Bottas screwed by Mercedes today by the looks of it, stupidly long stint on the soft tyre and simply looked there to act as a blocker for the Ferrari's. Seemed to have no grip by the last few laps hence his contact with Vettel and Ricciardo.

Also another point, Mercedes bluffing on the pit stops. I know they all probably do this at some point but Mercedes seem the worst offenders and it annoys the hell out of me, I actually thought they weren't meant to do this at all unless pitting.

Same as when Ferrari leave Raikkonen out, you can understand why they do it but it is gooseberry fool to see as a fan. Good point about the bluffing as I'm sure the FIA were more strict regarding that following some incidents in the pitlane, you're not supposed to be out there unless you actually have a legit reason.

Yeah it's crap, hate seeing any driver left out just to aid the first driver. I actually wish they'd ban team orders again, if its only mathematically possible for one driver to win the WDC then sort your orders off track and have a few scenarios in place and how to react, don't ruin their races just to get a couple more points.

Re the pit stops, yes they should have a reason, did they? I bet no but they'll say yes if questioned about it.

Edit, re team orders I can understand them when the drivers are on different strategies, if ones just pitted and the other is on old tyres then it makes sense to switch.

Was out this afternoon and looking forward to watching the evening highlights show, when on the bus, the woman in the row behind me decided to blurt out the entire result to her husband.

I could have easily got up and wrung her scrawny little neck there and then.

Hate it when this kind of thing happens, completely uneeded as well.

The pit stop fakery is a tough one to stop. Mercedes could very easily claim they were waiting to see if a full safety car was deployed or that conditions changed to cause them so cancel the stop.

Certainly is a tough one to crack down on, becasue as you said the team can simply say they were planning to pit one of their drivers. Only way they could start to crack down on it is penalising teams that rush into the pit lane who don't actually carry out a pit stop, but then there'd always be the odd time where a team genuinely plans to pit and some other factors are at play or the driver decides to stay out so it'd seem unfair to penalise all incidents the same.

Seems Force India and a couple of others will be trialling the 2019-spec front wings at testing this week.
