Formula E - for those who couldn't get a seat in F1 and where old F1 drivers go to die.

Nah that's Williams

Formula E is on the up and up to be fair and next seasons car looks amazing. All they need is better track design without the piddly narrow corners they seem to like having.

Well, Red Bull looked very strong from the practice sessions today, I'd be surprised if Mercedes or Ferrari stand a chance of the win if everyone finishes.

Codemasters have also shown off F1 2018 today, looks alright. For once I'm not planning on getting this years game (not at launch anyway). Naively I was hoping for a Switch version but that's looking like a dream currently, would have been there day one if it came out on the Switch.

Hopefully it'll be Red Bull's weekend, they deserve a break following Baku.

Also, i'm happy these days just as long as a Merc doesn't win.

Yep, I hope they get a 1, 2 as it would be nice to see a team other than Ferrari or Mercedes get some decent cash.

Red Bull have shitloads of money. These teams are Dietrich Mateschitz private Scalextrics toys (this is exactly how an employee described the team to me!)

Yes?

Milton Keynes can always use some extra money :shifty: .
Maybe they can spend it all on a huge new building to house the trophy.

Anyone else starting to like the F1 “theme music”?

Insane lap from Ricciardo! Smashed that lap record :)

Wonder if Max will start to change his approach to the weekend, he's not had a clean weekend all season so far.

I'm also starting to like the F1 theme, sounds good when watching it all but on it's own it's still pretty "meh",

Pleased with the result from quali, should be a good race tomorrow (well, actually, as i will not be seeing it, i suspect the race will be a classic).

Devastated that Max is at the back :( Half the fun for me watching is wondering whose race he's gonna wreck next. Here's hoping he gets in amongst the leaders asap.

I think there should be some kind of prize for a team being first and last on the grid.
Try and make it so more teams try for it as it certainly mixes up the lower order for a while.

I won't be watching the race live, delayed by about 4 hours. Probably be a typical Monaco race though!

Starting 20th there's a lot of drivers Max can take out on his way through the field. Which will end his race though? I'm saying K-Mag

Speaking of Haas, i wonder how many laps it'll be before Grosjean bins it in the barriers.

As fancy as all the glitz and glamour is there's little chance of overtaking and the only realistic chance of big order changes is from safety cars.
