I thought they were just heavily teasing it'd be orange so far? As far as launches go its Renault later and McLaren tomorrow so we won't have long to wait to see if it is a nearly full orange car for McLaren. Looking at Hulkenberg's helmet their sticking with the yellow and black which looked fantastic last season.

The new sauber colour scheme looks nice. The state of that halo though.

The Sauber livery is dull, with all the hype surrounding the Alfa branding, i would've thought they could have done better than that.

It's not bad, could have been better though.

I suppose it's better than the designs they were using during 2013-2016, those colour schemes were truly awful.

Lewis could win it again. I feel Verstappen is the one to watch though.

Loads better than the recent blue ones, the grey ones of 13/14 weren't horrific but nit eye catching either. Now I've seen a few more angles of the Sauber Alfa Romeo it doesn't look bad at all actually, seem to be the first one to reveal their car with some sort of aero on the Halo.

Renault up shortly, hope it looks as good as their 2017 car :)

The 2017 Renault was one of the best looking.

Hmm, it's alright, but the 2017 colour scheme was better, they used a more golden yellow on the previous car.

Love the side view. Best job of making the Halo as invisible as possible too.

As a side note, Red Bull revealed their racing suits for next year and they look exactly like last year's ones, so there's your 2018 livery sorted.

Yeah I saw that as well, really is a shame, takes the shine off the official livery reveal as well. Could have at least had some more Aston Martin related colours, or that shade of green (not sure what it is exactly) they use on their WEC cars.

On the topic of Red Bull, Ricciardo crashed the car on their filming day, always a risk when the weather is far from perfect but he was unharmed, unlike the car which suffered front wing, nose and floor damage.

Seems Renault haven't gone with the Ferrari-style sidepods this year. The Sauber has made a number of changes from last year and it'll be nice to see if they have moved further up the grid as a result.

The Toro Rosso was leaked ahead of schedule thanks to a filming day.

Just when you thought halo couldn't look worse, they have wings on.

Absolute abortion of a thing.

Was always going to happen as they never bothered saying they had to leave the halo alone so the teams would naturally try to use it to their advantage.

I'm also happy the Toro Rosso is keeping a similar livery to 2017, was probably my second favourite behind the Renault last year. Not read that the Honda has gone bang yet either...... :D

Right when the halo was announced for 2018 the FIA said they were going to let the teams have 20-25mm of clearance around the structure for aero fairings to help minimise the impact it has on the rest of the car. McLaren even ran a prototype at the end of last year. I actually quite like the look of the halo from the side, but from the front it is pretty awful.

The Honda supposedly ran without any issues, it would be funny if they leapfrogged the Renault just for the shitstorm that would happen at McLaren. Speaking of Renault, it seems that the car they showed off yesterday isn't the true '18 car so it could look quite different come the start of testing next week.
