Just seen a few videos on Twitter of that mechanic incident. Looks to me like his leg is broken in at least one place there. Potentially at least a double fracture.

Vettel's face when he hears Hamilton call Verstappen a dickhead!

Top race though, tense last few laps. Gasly certainly deserved driver of the day.

Would have had no chance of 4th or 5th. Gasly and Magnusson were way faster than him, both were over a second per lap faster before Alonso pitted.

C4 F1 - We won't show the mechanic injury.

Hmm, perhaps. I wish the F1 website still had live timing screens so it was easier to follow.
Alonso had upped his pace the last couple of laps before pitting and was much faster than Hulkenberg ahead. At the very least he should have waited a lap or two and tried to jump Hulkenberg on the pitstop.

Now, Hamilton claimed he can’t remember making the comment.

Just caught up with everything.

That's the best result Honda have had since their 2015 return!

Sad to see the mechanic get injured though.

That was a good race today. Gutted for Red Bull though.

I enjoyed it today. More overtaking than usual, plenty of incidents, and a close finish. Pleased to see Vettel win, although I do like Bottas. Great stuff from Gasly and, good from Magnussen too.

Well he's got a point, while you don't hear footballers that often you see them say the words quite often anyway. We only hear all the bad things that F1 drivers because they're hooked up to a radio all race and then followed around with a microphone under their necks for a while afterwards. In hindsight Lewis will have realised he shouldn't have really said it but he did, he'd just got out the car after a decent comeback to third. He can't do much about it now really.

Verstappen has lost his head over the last 2 races. I don't know what's going on with him. He seems off form and very clumsy.

I have to say this has been rather annoying, i stayed home to watch the first race and it sucked, yet when i decide to miss the second, it's actually good.

Gah!

If you could miss the rest of the season so all the races are this good, that'd be appreciated!

I'm due to see the next two races, so prepare to be disappointed.

That looks superb, just wished they'd stayed on-board for the whole lap!

Anyway I'll be missing 3 of the next 4 races, looks like I'll be subbing in for Vermilion to ensure we have good races! Just don't blame me if they're not! :P

Mercedes a massive 5 tenths off the pace of the Ferrari's in Q3. It'll be interesting to see how the cars behave in the warmer temperatures expected for tomorrow, but for now it's nice to see the Mercedes finally meeting its match in qualifying.
