#blessed

I wish croft would shut up for 5 mins, he's so bothered with reeling off his stats that he's ignoring the actual racing going on. "Perez on for his 3rd podium on a day with an r in the month 4 weeks after the birth of his neighbour's second child who was named after the leader of the" while vettel is tucked right under his chuff potentially overtaking him :fp:

Leclerc was quality throughout and Alonso managed decent points despite that first lap cluster strawberry float.

Crazy race where you were better off being in the first lap wars than avoiding them.

Apparently Perez's podium is under threat for supposedly illegal use of DRS at a couple of points during the middle of the race.

Verstappen needs to mature.

Great win for Hamilton and I enjoyed his after race interview.

Hamilton won that through sheer dumb luck.

Great race overall though, and it looks like it's gonna be a fun week back at Red Bull HQ.

Just finished watching the race, crazy race once again in Baku so well done Baku!

Red Bull's messed up big time, not sure who was blamed (if anyone) post race, seemed like Max put Daniel off moving a little under braking but I imagine Daniel's front end was going light being so close behind him which probably caused him to lock up a little earlier than he might have.

Gutted for Bottas, his strategy was ideal and the win was taken away by a bit of debris. Vettel messed up any chance of the win by going all or nothing on the restart. Hamilton majorly lucked into the win, it's what you need sometimes.

Called it last race 8-)

They both take such big risks that today's result was almost inevitable.

What is surprising this season is that all but 2 drivers have now scored points after just 4 races.

Only Grosjean and Sirotkin are pointless now.

Much like Seb and Mark back at Turkey in 2010. Was going to happen at some point, they've both been given a reprimand for it as well.

Forgot to mention Leclerc as well, looked great all race long, well earned 6th as well.

Disappointing that Hamilton of all people was the one to get the win out of all the chaos today, but it was an entertaining race overall - less for the racing and more for the crashes/damage, but I'll take it. What a strawberry float up from Red Bull. :dread:

And I know the BBC has to focus on women's sport now that it's lost the rights to everything else, but you think they'd at least report on F1 accurately when they do bother. From articles online that fail to show basic information like full race results, to laughable comments such as "the red Sebastian Vettel" and then blatantly wrong information on the news just now; claiming Alonso's punctures at the beginning were down to debris, and that the Red Bull crash caused 7 laps of tidying up, when really it was Grosjean's crash that caused the big delay.

Both red bull drivers reprimanded then

'Both drivers contributed to the collision. The driver of car 33 made two moves, both of which were relatively minor.

'The driver of car 3 [Ricciardo] admitted he left his move to overtake on the left, too late. It was obvious to the stewards that although the incident had its origins in the moves by car 33, the driver of car 3 also contributed to the incident.

'Both drivers expressed regret about their respective contributions to the incident, during the Stewards' hearing.'

Two moves not allowed...but it's f1's current poster boy for attracting dickhead young boy racer types so erm it was minor so ok after all

They've always gone light on drivers when it's an intra-team incident. Max and Dan aren't worried about the FIA, it's Horner and Marko who are going to hand out the punishment.
