Pretty much, fantastic venue with a great atmosphere (I imagine, never been) but as an actual F1 race it's generally pretty poor. The drivers must get a right buzz out of racing round Monaco though, just full on for the full race.

Bets on for Max to clatter K-Mag.

Max will start on Ultras and will need to get upto 12th or so in 7 laps to jump the top 10 when they pit off the Hypers. So he'll bin it lap 1 trying to do this as it is impossible.

There have been some great Monaco races over the years, 1992 and 1996 are particularly memorable.

Generally though it does make for a pretty dull event.

Max starting from the back somewhere like Monaco is just asking for catastrophe.

I think he needs some kind of punishment. He has had some kind of incident in every race so needs a couple of races ban to cool off and have a think. If he comes back with no changes they should think about withdrawing his license.

Yes?

Hero or bust race for him this. He'll either somehow make his way up through the field and be hailed as a Monaco master in a race that will be talked about for years, or crash within a handful of laps and get a race ban.

:datass:

Grosjean, Verstappen and Magnussen all next to each other on the grid and heading into that first corner together.

Place your bets. How long before Verstappen crashes in to someone?

I'm going for the hairpin on the first lap.

I'm gonna say he'll have a tidy race... until the last lap on the verge of getting 10th he'll take someone out and let a Sauber score some more points.

This will be an interesting experiment. Will the Monaco Grand Prix be less interesting than being stuck in the office by myself on a Sunday?

The first corner is done so I may as well just tune in for the finish now :shifty: .
