Such a boring race. Just a procession with a slow front car and everyone else looking after tyres.

Turned it over to Indy 500, there’s an Australian guy called Will Power lol

Power's been one of the top indy drivers of the last decade, he started in British F3, though sadly i don't think i ever got a chance to get an autograph even though he was at some of the events i attended.

As for Monaco, i watched the 5 min youtube catch up, didn't look like i missed too much, but am glad to see that Ricciardo won.

Pretty dull race, looked like it could've been set up for a potentially exciting final few laps, but that didn't materialise. Pleased to see Ricciardo win though.

Sickening to see the grid girls back - when will this oppression end?! :x

Rubbish race, nearly as always. The way the race unfolds always gives such hope of an exciting race towards the end but the track layout just never let's it happen. Thrilled for Ricciardo finally getting a win in Monaco, didn't put a foot wrong yet still nearly had the win taken away from him due to power unit problems (anywhere else and he would have, much like Ferrari at Hungary in 2017 suffering from steering problems).

Hopefully Canada is an exciting race as it nearly always is!

The Danny Ric tension made the race for me. Otherwise it was dull.

Will Power won the Indy 500, the first Australian driver ever to do so.

Looks like it was a good weekend for Aussies in racing.

Alonso and Hamilton said the race was boring.

I agreed.

Onboards of Monaco never get dull, I don't quite know how the drivers can find it boring when they just need to be on it corner after corner, lap after lap.

Think the issue this time is that they weren't on it lap after lap as they were protecting the tyres. 8 seconds slower than qualifying. Utterly pathetic.

Yep, I think it's time Monaco had some kind of format change, or at least allow a different spec of car to race there. F1 can't continually improve the speed, whilst still racing around a glamorous car park. I don't want to see Monaco fall off the calendar, but maybe it's time to turn the race into a TT.

Whenever i play Monaco on F1 2017 Online, i always seem to end up qualifying 3-5 seconds slower than pole even on the occasions when i absolutely nail each and every corner.

Yeah that was a shame, that's the problem with the tyres graining up and Ricciardo basically acting as a roadblock due to power issues. Surprised at the tyres as they never normally seem an issue round Monaco from what I remember.

I've never been able to drive Monaco as well since moving back to a pad, on a wheel Monaco was fantastic but on a pad is pretty awful as (in my opinion at least) you're never quite sure how the car is going to act in a few of the turns, the steering just feels off.

Actually come to think of it, i'm always several seconds off pole on all tracks, sometimes i've put in a perfect lap yet am still well off the pace :(

I never venture online that often so can't really compare my times to those online, partly as I always just get crashed out and partly due to me not being quick enough, some of the people online are just immensely quick. Come to think of it I've not even loaded F1 2017 up in the last few weeks.

Some of the driving i've seen lately in the game has been absolutely abysmal, there seems to be a general consensus now that when racing at Baku in particular, my rear end is to be used as a brake.

I suspect this'll end up on no context grcade lol.
