What happened in the pits? My original stream was a couple of minutes behind and died before the safety car ended. :(

They didn't seem to show a replay but the commentators said that he was released into the path of Ericson and said surely it's an unsafe release and then never mentioned it again. Bit strange. They seemed confident that it was though.

Cheers. It is a bit strange, he unsafe release calls usually come up pretty fast.

Man, Kimi and Hamilton are relentlessly trading blows with these fast laps.

I missed a few laps there. Why was lewis so far behind Kimi after the pit when it looked like they were neck and neck?

Kept Hamilton out a bit long and Kimi was putting in very fast laps. Might have backfired on Kimi though as his tyres look a little poor right now.

Vettel had to pit a second time so the softs might not last the distance at this rate.

That's a shame, looks like both may just nurse their tyres over the last few laps.

I've not been happy watching this race.....

Probably a 30 point lead for Hamilton after its done. Bottas did a stellar job helping them win the race as well by staying out for so long, he must be starting to question his future going forward with the team? At least Rosberg gave Hamilton a good fight throughout their time together.

Starting to this that's the WDC wrapped up as well, barring reliability I don't see Hamilton/Mercedes dropping 30 points :(

A repeat of last year with Vettel's WDC challenge falling apart in the second half of the season. It's gonna take a non-finish for Hamilton if Vettel is gonna stand a chance.
