You obviously know more intelligent meatheads than me. The ones I know would just reply with swearing and “sport r troops!!” rubbish.

To be fair, I've only had to say this twice and both times I suspect the big words made them wary of arguing back in case they looked stupid.

What's with people sharing photos of their chicken dinners? I had 2 or 3 show up on my FB last night.

It was Sunday so people did roasts?

No idea why they think people on Facebook want to see.

People have Sunday roast every week, but I don't see them posting them on FB. Also they're all roast chicken. No sign of beef, pork or lamb. Just a bit weird to see so many.

Looks nice but I find it questionable to have carrot batons instead of coins. Too much cutting required with that dinner.

I know exactly what you mean by carrot coins, but I've never heard them called that before. Makes sense, really. Hmm.

I've never heard anyone refer to sliced carrot as batons or coins before.

I see. I've definitely seen batons being used - you can buy them in Sainsburys - but I guess I coined coins. 8-)

My landlord calls them peasant tiddlywinks.
