What are people’s thoughts on this I’m appalled this is England we will fly our flag
Image

Cue many people posting photos and gifs of the flag cos patriotism.

I am Welsh and no the English flag is not racist xxxxxx

Todays Councils will tell you to take it down, and if not Will take you to court for aggravative racism.

The Muslims say so just like stirring gooseberry fool

The English flag is indeed not racist. Very unfortunately though England is the only country that I can think of where its right-wing nationalist groups, many of whom are quite vocally/physically racist carry the same flag as the national one.
In America, for example, those types tend to be more likely to carry the confederate (or even the Nazi) flag instead and thus there is no such strong association between the national flag and the racism spread by those hate groups.

I'm glad they included all the kisses, or I might not have taken them seriously.

I seen this video on Facebook yesterday of a girl getting her gooseberry fool kicked in over here. They really did a number on her. Stamped on her head. Trailed her around by the hair, punched her in the face repeatedly. Was pretty strawberry floated up. They tried to throw into a fountain and drown her afterwards according to BBC news.

You gotta love unintelligent people though. They filmed the whole thing. They got arrested and are awaiting trial. Pure strawberry floating scum.

The Union Jack is now banned in parts of London, amid claims that it is "offensive" to local people.

What is happening to this country?! How on earth are we banning Britain's flag in the capital city?!

London has fallen. We can save it, but it won't be easy, and it certainly isn't possible with Sadiq at the helm.

Just had a gander at the Alfie Evans threads on Facebook. I don't know what the best part is: the naming and shaming of doctors, the incitement to riot posted on Merseyside Police's page, the people acting like they've read the entire British National Formulary so know exactly what all the drugs do, the people dredging up any failings Alder Hey have ever made (they didn't have Facebook profile frames during the organ retention scandal so obviously nobody knows about that and it's super-pertinent), the false equivalencies between Alfie Evans and the Bulger killers, or the fact that I've seen Alder Hey spelt three different ways within the space of about a minute.

That whole Alfie thing just makes me so angry. And as a sane person I'm on the doctors' side.

The ambulance that was blocked yesterday should've run the 'protesters' over...

It's sad yes, but they're not the only family having to deal with this sort of thing... Apparently a few people with appointments yesterday couldn't make it in because of this nonsense...

Alder Hey hospital probably saved my brother's life so I'm behind them.

They should let that child go.

It's a gooseberry fool situation but people taking it out on staff and ambulance services is even more gooseberry fool.

Read some of the Twitter comments as he's apparently been breathing unassisted for 9 hours [citation needed].

People actually thinking that the poor doctors are deliberately trying to murder this kid :dread: :dread: :dread:
