Why was my account disabled?
Your account was disabled because we determined that you are ineligible to use Facebook. For more information about our policies, please review the Facebook Terms. If you think your account was disabled by mistake, please contact us.

:| Probably got reported for abuse by a far-right troll snowflake who took umbrage at an inane reply I might've made on a liberal page's post, in response to some Trump news. I've done nothing to violate their terms, though, but apparently I'm still ineligible, and of course they won't say why.

Think of it as a blessing, Facebook is terrible and you're better off without it.

I use it to passively keep track of my family and such. Nothing gooseberry fool about that.

TBH I've become pretty dependent on the site.

Facebook is as good or bad as the people you are friends with. If your friends are all awful then it will be awful. Stick with people you like and it's no worse than any other social media.

You have to have a few idiots though for the amusement factor.

The people I was friends with were mostly okay - and those that weren't, I simply un-followed (including the amusement factor ones - they got annoying fast). I didn't harass or bully anybody, or post inappropriate content, or break any other rules, but I did make my political leanings known, and I did comment on political news posts regularly.

I really don't know what I might've done to warrant this 'ineligible' status. There's no transparency to it at all, it feels like I'm at the mercy of a nasty, capricious God.

There's a girl on my friends list who will often post a picture of herself with loads of hashtags, which include gooseberry fool such as:

#likesforlikes
#likesreturned
#commentsforcomments

Etc.

How can anyone just openly beg people to like their photos and promise that they will return the favour. Why are they so shallow?

So bloody painful they say bad news comes in 3s so glad I've had my niece here last few weeks cuz it's nice having someone to talk to apart from just my hubby n kids cuz I barely see anyone or hear from anyone n now not being able to use the car till it's at least looked at is pissing me off!! Bloody worst time to have a bank holiday ever!! At least if it wasn't a bank holiday I'd be able to take car to seat to b looked at as it's less than a yr old n coolant is basically nearly empty and flashing n engine gets hot n not my car so I can't do sod all about it, and I'd b able to call drs n go to emergency surgery on Monday !! Ffs!! Well I suppose I'm just glad I at least have my pain meds earlier about the only bloody upside! Kids r gonna go bonkers being stuck in as not been able to go anywhere as got no money this half term at least WHEN I win the euro millions I'm gonna take them all on a nice 2 week holiday and spoil them rotten for the whole 6 weeks so fingers crossed for having it before the next half term!! I've noticed that this is a massive trend for those under 16 on Facebook. It's all some of them post, multiple times a day.
