Have a cold. No heating in the house. It's freezing.

-2 already in my area and it's set to drop further. Bring on the summer already!

-3 here at the moment. Blanket and snuggie has been equipped.

He's like 2 parts Big Frank, one part Raze. With a little bit of Pan sprinkled in there too.

so chuffed we got our roof properly insulated back in October. Had wall and double glazing but it was just lost through the roof.

we're running our heating at two thirds of what they were last time it was cold and the house is staying warmer.

Toasty now in this brrrr weather.

Landlords paying to put insulation in soon. Looking forward to it - when the heating's on the place is lovely but doesn't take long at all to cool down.

Gas bill last month was £76 too, but it doesn't help when my housemate comes in drunk, puts a pizza in the oven and then goes to bed (no joke my friend slept on the couch and woke up at 6am really warm to find the oven on with a cremated pizza inside )

its great.

Our bill is over a hundred per month but that is electricity for everything as we have no gas here. Not cheap but not massively bad for a house I guess.

ouch !

I'm on 37 quid in electric a month and about 40 a month (in winter 20 in summer) in gas.

I only have electric, too. Last year I spent £586 in total on electric.
