It's another one of those times where I have to try and get to sleep on the floor of a house I'm not used to.

I'm no good at this. There's three other rooms off this one, so I can't keep an eye on all the exits, and I keep hearing noises from both outside and the kitchen... :|

I'm far too paranoid :fp:

Apparently I was sick tonight, but I think they were over exaggerating some what. Spitting out a nasty drink is not the same as spewing. But whatevs.

Weatherspoons breakfast is pretty strawberry floating spot on, value for money and pretty good quality ingredients.

Taking a big gooseberry fool after a night on the bants is like the greatest feeling ever.

strawberry float's sake. Wander down the stairs at Snow Hill just as the train is pulling out :| Now thanks to the bastard Sunday Service I've got half an hour to waste and sod-all to do.

CrossCountry are an absolute shower of wankers. The 10:33 from Derby was delayed until 10:38 (and they only bothered to mention it at 10:35), then I get on the train, sit there for ten minutes in silence wondering why it hasn't left yet. As y'know, it was late when it got here, so surely it should be leaving ASAP... and eventually they're all "oh, there's a problem with this train, you're all going to have to get the train that's standing on platform 1", so everyone belts it over to platform 1 to a train that's half the size of the one we were on before (so it's standing room only) and that train doesn't leave until 11:02.

Absolutely shambolic. Thanks to them my perfectly planned trip home is ruined. Gonna write an angry letter and see if they'll reimburse me for my train fare. London Midland give a refund for half an hour delays, so if CC know what's good for them, they'll give one too. Some kind of communication between the staff and the passengers would be nice, and all. It's so frustrating sitting on a train that should have left with no clue why they're wasting all this time.

Their trains still have doors that you've gotta wind the window down to open from the outside, too. It's like I'm back in Victorian times!

What the strawberry float? I've never heard of this before in my life.
