Does anyone ever bother with these? There's a load of them - Andrex, Tropicana, Coca Cola, McVities, Xbox Rewards...

Andrex & McVities are easily attainable & always stocked. In regards to Andrex, you're buying toilet tissue anyway so you may as well get a few freebies out of it.

Tropicana has had by far the biggest & best gifts (coffee machines, Pure DAB radios, John Lewis paraphernalia) but is expensive (sometimes hitting in excess of 100 points/cartons) & poorly stocked. It's more often than not completely sold out.

Coca Cola however I think is useless. Apart from having to remember to log in (otherwise they remove your points because they deem the account to be inactive) it's expensive, & the rewards are rather poor. The best thing on offer I think is a subscription to either GamesMaster or T3 magazine - the latter requiring 375 points! Go on the American version & you see just how naff our selection is.

Asda own brand FTW. 8-)

I use Xbox Rewards but that's about it. Also I occasionally go for the odd freebie via Quidco, Insurance quotes are easy to fill out and rake in a quid or so every time.

Did have a cokezone one, didn't use for a couple of months so it was deleted. Don't bother now

HMV's Pure scheme is fantastic. They stock enough little to make impulse rewards worth it but still have good expensive things (Gig Tickets being a prime example)

Their Games stuff is pretty good. Fancy a sub to EDGE, a 6' Tekken Statue or gold-plated Lips Mics?

I've gotten an Animal Crossing mug, various plushies and a DK Banana Wiimote case in the past, none of which can be bought.

Same here :|

total points : 17597
total amount of points subject to expire: 16299 *

* As per terms and conditions points will expire if unused for two years. However, we will notify you via email that your points are expiring 62 days beforehand.
details correct as at 29 February 12, 5:22pm

HMV Pure also has a point expiry limit :fp:

The only points scheme I bother with these days is Club Nintendo. The SNES Virtual Console controller will be mine one day!

I still do Cokezone every now and again just to keep it active. I only ever really spend the points on the huge prize draws for electronics bundles (tv, laptop, surround sound etc.) in the vien hope I might win. Needless to say I haven't.

I amassed about three Tesco bags for life full of Coke bottles as they appeared to sometimes have some decent stuff on the Coke Zone thing. My girlfriend kicked off on me several times for filling our tiny flat with shite and not logging the points. I finally got around to sorting them out and my existing points had been deleted :fp:
