Hell yeah! 8-)

Have any of you experimented with the online yet? I'm particularly interested in that.

I'd like to, if only for the online item shop.

Unfortunately the DS doesn't like WPA networks.

It should be interesting though.

(Can you use your own team though, or will all the characters be the same level etc.?)

Wow, chapter 22 was a real war.

Thank God for long-range healing items. And Shiida's unlimited supply of lances.

I can't pass the final level(chapter 25). It's too damn difficult. :(

No joy last night, either. :( Why is it so much more difficult that every single level before it? :x

Just finished Chapter 25. A little too easy if you ask me.

I'm still preparing for 23. So, I'm nearing the end?

Looks like most of those Master Seals aren't going to get used.

How many have you spare? I've only one.

Quite a few. I've only class-changed Lena, Hardin, Shiida, and Gordin so far. Ogma and Frey might reach 20 relatively soon, but they're not key members of my offense.

Does Marth just keep gaining levels?

You know you can use Seals on people from level 10 onwards, right? Why do you keep mentioning level 20? What happens at 20? My Balista guy 'Jake', is on level 32. The game still won't let me use a Master Seal on him though, which sucks. I could've used two on him by now. He couldv'e been the ultimate bad-ass, instead he just gooseberry fool. Mostly.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

I always get them to the level limit before upgrading them. Not sure if that makes any difference at all to their stats.

Just one of the ways in which everybody plays Fire Emblem differently.

It pains me to say it, but I think I'm gonna have to give up on this game. I just cannot pass the final chapter. :( At least not without sacrificing at least 5 or 6 guys. There's only so much frustration I can take before I'll inevitabley throw the DS at the wall and break it. It's the constant respawning of bad guys that drives me over. It's so unfair.

The re-spawning enemies do seem a little more obnoxious in this game than in the console versions.

At least in Radiant Dawn they had the good grace to spawn in interesting and varied locations (i.e. right at your exposed rear flank). Just having wave after wave of them emerge from the same place seems a little cheap.

Still, I guess you're supposed to take the positions that they are emerging from in order to stem the tide.

After playing it until about 5 am this morning, I'm now on Chapter 24.

The last few have been quite easy, so it will be interesting to see the difficulty spike in Chapter 25.

I think I still prefer Radiant Dawn, but I'll try the online before deciding.

There's nothing like repeatedly failing a mission just before going to bed. Chapter 24 was haunting my dreams last night. At least my subconscious mind gave me a few new ideas to try.

It's not like I was completely out of my depth anyway. I had some pretty effective choke-points set up and I thought I was well on my way to riding it out, but unfortunately my eastern flank had a little trouble and a healer was just one column away from salvaging Jagen's pitiful existence.

FINISHED!!

Chapter 25 wasn't that bad. I was lucky with the boss though, Nabarl (using the special sword) got two critical hits, and left it with about 3 hp.

Neither do I.

Can you tell me this, FF, does the respawning in the final mission ever stop(particularly the ballistas)?

Nabarl's a swordmaster. (my favourite unit)

I finished it in 8 turns Chalky (no deaths 8-) ), so I'm not sure. I had two mages with fortify (cast each turn) standing on the stairs in the top left, so nothing respawned there. The respawning units in the bottom right didn't reach any of my units.
