Fuuuccckkkkk!

I was up until 5am this morning playing FE.

Digital crack.

Anyway, I should really look into re-classing. I have far too many mounted lance-users.

I was up 'til 4. :( I'm on chapter 23 now. It's a toughie. The last 4 or 5 levels before it were piss easy, though. I flew through them.

I'm knee deep in Master seals now, too. I have two in reserve with no-one to use them on. :( 9 altogether, so far. It sucks that they can only be used once on each character and most of the tagger-ons can't use them at all, which is even suckier.

I'm in battle preparation for chapter 17. Good to hear about Master Seals. I have another two units at level 20 and nowhere to go.

Is there a character limit for re-naming weapons?

I really want to forge a massive fuck-off lance and name it 'HARDIN'S HARD-ON HARPOON'.

Unfortunately I'm pretty low on cash at the moment. Hopefully I'll find some in one of the chests in chapter 17.

I always seem to blow my cash as soon as I find a decent shop. My convoy must be 15 carriages long at this point. Just for the vulneries.

Now I'm swimming in cash and Master Seals. How things change...

Unfortunately I was one door key short of clearing every room in chapter 19 and I never thought to put a thief in my party.

Oh well, too late now. I bet if I retried the mission the last room would just have an enemy in it.

There's always a bad guy on one side and 2 chests at the other. It's the same for all 4 columns.

I'll survive without them.

...

Big decisions coming up.

7 Master Seals, 8 characters at/approaching level 20. Of which two would become Bishops and three would become Paladins.

I'm quite partial to my horseys, but I might have to cut my losses on one or more of them.

Then again, it's not like I'd use a mage much if I had one, so class-changing might not be the answer.

I could probably do with a Swordmaster, Horseman, or a Beserker though.

Buh, chapter 20 seems like a real barstard.

I might have to adjust my tactics.

I let another brave soul perish last night. :( This time he was with me almost from the start. Hardin :(

It was chapter 23. I was trying to get to a save point before a big encounter with a bunch of mages. Only thing is, I didn't notice that Hardin was standing one space inside the enemy's reach. I saved and there was no turning back. I breathed a sigh of relief as I realised only one mage could attack him. But then, with one mighty blow, Hardin killed him, freeing up the space for another mage to take his place and attack once more. And again, Hardin finished him with one fatal blow.....

He was so strong........

So strong.

But he couldn't hold off three of them. He sacrificed his life to save the lives of his brothers.

Goodnight sweet prince. Your heroics won't be forgotten.

Chapter 20 spoilarz:
Can you recruit Camus?

I managed to get Lorenz to defect to my side, but I decided to make for the exit instead of engaging Camus.

That's good.

Unfortunately my swift exit meant that I forgot to visit the stores in that level.

Now I'm starting to run low on quality lances and axes.

I love the toing and froing between you two in this thread. :D

Anyway, I FOUND A COPY! \o/ Just one in GameStation - the only one they had. I picked it up, but I won't be playing until Christmas as it's a pressie from the wife. She told me to get it if I saw it, but that she'd buy it for me, bless her. It means I have to wait, but that'll be a great Christmas game to get stuck into when the night's drawing in and we're back home with the heating on full blast with the rubbish Christmas telly on in the background. :)

Dracoknight Shiida + Starsphere + Wing Spear = Absolute Annihilation.

Nice of you to join us, Hero.

I know what you mean. I can't play FE until around 6PM when it's dark and cold outside.

There will be four of us.

(Actually, I think Jazzem's getting it, too.)

I haven't tried the online yet, I'll probably finish the main adventure first.

Onto Chapter 12 now, loving it so far.
However, I was very frustrated with the arena in chapter 11.

I was worried that the fact that there have been two Fire Emblem games this calender year might split the vote when it comes to GRcade's Strategy/RPG GOTY vote. But there's only a handful of us playing the game. Anyway, we're bound to be defeated by the Disgaea mafia or the Valkyria Chronicles alliance.

I haven't used the arenas for a while. I always seem to have no cash when one comes around.

Hell yeah! 8-)

Have any of you experimented with the online yet? I'm particularly interested in that.
