The team: "Oh no. We've got a problem"

Woosh

Barry: "I time travelled to fix it!"

Such a berk. Hate that Iris (who's not even a favourite character) has been robbed of any motivation or character of her own

Season 3 episode 21:

HR telling Time Remant Barry where Iris was it irrelevant?
Surely if he thought he was telling normal Barry, then TR Barry would automatically know too?

Why didn't they just put Iris in ARGUS building where Metas have no power?

Barry can't get emotionally destroyed and become savitar if he doesn't see Iris die...could have just not turned up.

Barry allows Cisco to go lose both his hands?

Snart's line about Jaws movie budget. :slol:

3x21- I assume Savitar's speed armour protects him from ARGUS nullification fields but there are surely better places to hide Iris than just standing around in STAR labs.

-DEO in Kara's Earth where she'd be protected by Martian Manhunter and Supergirl?
-The Fortress of Solitude in Kara's Earth?
-Batman's moon base in Kara's Earth? I assuming he has a Moon base, he normally does.
- Somewhere in time with the Legends on the Waverider?
- Or Barry could just kill himself already. Savitar's excuse for why that wouldn't work in a previous ep was laughable.

Where was Julian in that episode?

Finale....wasn't great. Nonsense plot wise and thematically. Odd rules of Time Travel again...

Didn't see the HR switch coming - explains why they had him make that stupid mistake [in turns of writing, not him] last week.

"We'll save future barry with love" was also annoying - if Iris, not HR, had died they wouldn't have done that. And it felt incredibly false...and daft given it ended up in base blown up.

3 Speedsters vs Savitar wasn't even that exciting/impressive, which is a big feat.

Even the ending didn't feel like "Barry strawberry floated up everything and has to sacrifice himself to fix it" more "Barry's so great and selfless to sacrifice himself for us"

Boooooooo boooooooooo

If anyone cares - Draco won't be back next year (at least as regular, they've not mentioned other appearances)

Awww, I liked Malfoy! Was surprised he didn't get killed off heroically, given he's a 'name'.

Ok return but barry being fixed suddenly was very bad. At least Caitin was only semi-fixed. Don't know anything about the new bad guy except his name.

I thought it was a so-so episode.

Lots of hand waving to reset things (mostly Barry :P) to how they were - I'm willing to give them a chance, and it might be worth a mediocre opening to do that

Not a bad episode but definitely not the best..

I've not watched it because I can't manage to download any episodes (of this or Arrow) from my usual sources.

5 episode crossover event in December & January -

CW President Mark Pedowitz at the network’s upfront today announced details about “Crisis On Infinite Earths,” the mega-crossover next fall that will unite the entire Arrowverse family of franchises – Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman – in a five-episode epic that will span two quarters.

Three episodes will air in December with the two concluding installments arriving in January. Legends won’t be on the fall schedule so it premieres in January, which locks it in as one of the host series for the final two episodes. The crossover will link the final season of Arrow, the original brand that lends its name to the Arrowverse collective, with the inaugural season of Batwoman, a character (played by Ruby Rose) introduced in “Elseworlds,” the CW superhero mythology’s previous crossover event.

Previously announced crossover casting includes Tom Welling and Erica Durance, reprising their respective Smallville roles of Clark and Lois; Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as Supergirl‘s Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane; Legends of Tomorrow‘s Routh pulling double duty as the Kingdom Come version of Superman; Jon Cryer as Supergirl‘s Lex Luthor; Batman‘s Burt Ward in an undisclosed role; unspecified characters from Black Lightning, which to date has never fully been a part of the Arrowverse; veteran voice actor Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond) as “Bruce Wayne from the future”; and LaMonica Garrett (“Elseworlds”) as both the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor.

As reported earlier this week, fellow Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum — aka Lex Luthor — was invited to join Welling and Durance in the crossover, but he declined. “WB called my agents Friday afternoon when I was in Florida visiting my grandfather in a nursing home. Their offer: No script. No idea what I’m doing. No idea when I’m shooting,” he explained. “Basically no money. And the real kick in the ass: ‘We have to know now.’ My simple answer was ‘Pass.’ I think you can understand why. I hope this answers all of your questions.”
