Kanbei, can you switch my support from Boro to Man Utd in the opening thread please?

I think I deserve some success this season, so come on you North West Reds!

Disappointing but inevitable, he wants to play in the Premier League and I don't blame him. Still sad to see him go, he would have destroyed the Championship, though given the state of his knees he may not have managed many games.

Stupid release clause. Though that is probably why we got him in the first place. Great signing for the toon.

GRCADE CLUB STATEMENT

It is with great regret that I must announce the retirement of Spindash from the coveted role of Football Thread Creator. He has given us great service over the years and deserves to put his feet up and enjoy proceedings from afar. I am also delighted to have announced that Kanbei has accepted the job of Football Thread Creator for the 2011/12 season. I am sure he will do a wonderful job over the next 12 months.

Rafa Benitez wrote:I only deal in fachts, It is a facht that over the years Mr Kanbei has been an important member of the squad and it is also a facht that he can make the step up.

Jose Mourinho wrote:It's all about omelettes and eggs, No eggs, no omelette. And it depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket, you have eggs class one, class two, class three. Some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there you have a problem. I beieve Kanbei is a good egg

Starting off the season with our two biggest local deries- Leicester and Birmingham. Classic.
