I wouldn't pick Wilshere.

He hasn't played all season.

That's a very good point actually. If he comes back say next month and plays consistantly between March and May then i saw take him. But if he literally makes a small handful of appearances this season then i'm not sure. He definitely needs to get his fitness back before a major tournament. You cannot go into that with such little fitness under your belt. At the moment unfortunately it looks like he's still a little way off from returning for Arsenal. I do think Capello will still take him though.

We had this problem with rooney in 2006, he came into the squad not having played for months and he was awful..started to get better but then got sentoff If wilshire hasnt played all season Id leave him at home Im afraid

Pretty solid team, although I'd have Richards RB instead of Walker and Caulker instead of smalling. Probably not for this Euro's but it would be ideal after the competition has finished and Capello has gone.

Neville is actually a decent pundit imo, despite being a slimy, rat faced, punchable prick.

Neville isn't stupid, that's why he makes a good pundit. He does show some ridiculous bias towards Man U and against Citeh at times though.

I like that team, though Jones and Smalling CB? Shut up. I'd also have Richards at RB, mainly due to his extra experience over Walker.

How about Terry, Cahill, Lescott, amongst others? I like the rest of the team though, but personally I would have AJ (if he plays enough ) or Young instead of Oxo. He's class but I think it's far too early to say he should start in the Euros.

I'd have Welbeck ahead of Sturridge.

Wellbeck is secondly good enough for England but as a striker only. And we won't be playing Rooney and Wellbeck.

Agree, Jones is currently too sloppy and Smalling would be better used as a backup player though I do like him at right back for United.

I cannot believe that 5 days before what is clearly going to be a difficult match at OT, Dalglish has gone down the same road of denial again. His handling of this event has been abysmal.

I was all for not talking about the Suarez incident (by incident I mean where he called Evra something questionable not the various other incidents he's been involved in, like biting fellow professionals or failing to play in the spirit of the game at the highest level and then revelling in the other team's misery) but Kenny thinks it's fine to keep bringing it up so let's!

I also agree but then I read things like this.

Put your personal opinions of him to one side when talking about England. Then you'll realise he's the best player in the team.

He should start proving it then. Otherwise you could just stick a downs syndrome kid on the pitch to run around looking mean not really doing anything and it'd be akin to Rooney's usual.

I agree with your 3rd part but u misunderstood my first two quotes. I mean't I understand why they hold his name in high regard but not him as a person.

It's because of what he has done for the club that he is afforded the luxury of fans turning a blind eye to him as a person/loving him no matter what.

Does anyone have any idea what could happen to harry should he be found guilty? In all the stories I've read over the last few weeks I haven't seen any mention of what could happen.

My guess is that he would receive a fine, be ordered to pay the tax on the questionable figure and court costs etc. But this is a pure guess.

I think fine, but people are sent down for tax evasion, and it is a rather substantial amount of money. Either has big implications for Tottenham or England. Spurs would surely keep him if it were a fine, but England wouldn't be able to hire him at the same time.

i doubt harry will be sent down why would he avade about 2 grand of tax when he earns thousands and did back then. Seems pointless to me

It doesnt matter how much you earn, if you tax evade - you tax evade. Harry went to Monaco, went into a bank, named it after his dog, had money enter that account via Mandaric which he then withdrew tax free. His defense has pretty much amounted to 'I DIDN'T KNOW NUTHIN, I DIN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE I WOZ GUV'.

The fact remains is although he earned millions it was a substantial amount of money. They may get off on a technicality, but its pretty clear what they were trying to achieve.

Why wouldn't you play the best attacking player in the league (excluding Silva and Mata) against a shite Manchester Utd defence. Jonny Evans is shite, Patrice Evra has been shite this year, Ferdinand is past it and I don't even remember who has been playing RB for them, Smalling is it?

I just don't want the whole "will he won't he shake hands" debacle that will happen. I also think he will be booed to strawberry float and abused for the entire game. I'd rather let him sit it out for his sake to be honest.

Everything he does will be scrutinised to the nth degree, every tackle, free kick, penalty claim and if he scores, his goal celebration too. Just a nightmare for the lad to be honest.
