He could well end up back at Spurs. Or retire.

I'd only say in a season where it looked like your team was going to win the league would you refuse England. Tottenham will not win the league.

What a crock of gooseberry fool. Granted, Capello's England were poor in the 2010 World Cup. But Sven?

2002 we reach the quarter finals, only losing to winners Brazil by a flukey goal.

2004 Euro Championships - we reach the quarter finals again. Campbell has a goal disallowed. We lose to finalists Portugal.

200 World Cup - Quarter finals again. Lost to Portugal on penalties with Rooney the dickhead getting sent off. That's TOP 8 in three consecutive finals, which is about right for our position in World football. Let's face it, most of us could name 7 countries who are better or on a par with England.

Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Holland, France, Portugal...

We were piss poor in 2006, and in 2002 we played Argentina (who were poor) and Denmark (who were poor) before losing to Brazil. We had a whole half against ten men after the flukey goal and did nothing - so yes - we underachieved and were poor in Tournaments under Sven. Whenever we played anyone decent we were second best.

As long as he doesn't start every game in midfield next season that's fine. He can still teach the younger players a thing or two. Though hopefully they ignore him when he says "when you are struggling in a match and possibly losing, keep trying to do awful flicks to nobody".

Wasnt exactly easy in the heat though was it. They had ten men for 30 minutes...and it was a forward so they could still sit on their lead.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I'm sorry - 'Arry is a strange subject for me. I hate him as an indivdual but love him a pure man-manager. I want this guy managing England. Also, I know what this guy is like, and it frustrates me that the Spurs support think they will be a special case. They won't. Nothing against them, if he was offered Real Madrid or Manchester United he'd probably stay, but its his dream to manage England.

Sorry - I'll try shut up now.

Well DML certainly hasn't sat on the fence with this. He's either going to look good or bad.

With the powers you clearly wield over the fate of Tottenham Hotspur, Mockmaster, you need to challenge the FA to a wager.

Failing that, a forumite forfeit.

I've already said I'd change my middle name to Mockmaster if Rednkapp is offered the England job and turns it down to stay at Tottenham permanantly.

Harry will join England, hasnt he said it plenty of times before, spurs are no special case. He has the chance to win the second biggest trophy in the world..and lets be honest he isnt getting any younger either, time to move on old boy..let Neil Warnock in at spurs :shifty:

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I don't agree that its the second biggest. Its bigger then the Copa America, but is certainly no Champions League. The World Cup tops them all mind.

I seriously doubt many players think "my dream is to win the world cup and the euros".

Surely it's the CL. Far more prestigious although obviously in more recent years it's not as glamourous, what with letting teams in 4th and weirdly 5th enter.

You can make an argument that the CL is bigger than the Euros but you really think it's bigger than the World Cup? :|
