Not my fault if you worded it badly.

Wasn't worded badly in the slightest. Must be a Brummy thing?

As much as I'd like England to win the WC, in a weird way I'd be worried about the outcome. When Italy won it I went into Bedford to celebrate and it was great. Everyone in good spirits, lots of fun, people being friendly. Sadly I could just see celebrations breaking into retarded fights and hooliganism if England won. I guess that's why they cancelled a bunch of the big screen showings in cities. :(

Are you a manc? :shifty: :P

It wouldnt break out into hooliganism, when we beat Argentine in 2002 (which is my most vivid memory) it was like we'd won the WC. Amazing scenes all over my town

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

If England won the World Cup there would not be fights or vandalism. :fp:

You really have no faith in humanity whatsoever do you? Must be the fact that the majority of football fans are scum.

Well I guess if it went off ok in Birmingham then anything is possible.

I just remember the horrible scenes from Euro '96. Embarrasing. Plus in Germany too :fp:

You have too much faith in humanity. Must be because football fans are a lovely bunch.

See what I did there?

That was when we lost though, also there has been a lot of work cleaning up this trouble, it was 12 years ago now remember.

Plus we're gonna win it so theres no problem 8-)

Would be hilarious if we did win it. I guess you never know. Can't see it sadly.

I found my England shirt the other day from the WC. Still has grass stains and stuff all over it. strawberry float knows what happened the night of the Germany game :?

I see Zellery is the thread comedian. *cough*

It would be funny purely because of everything with England. Captains being banana splits, being stripped of captaincy, mangers resigning. Plus we aren't exactly a great team. I just don't think people would really be expecting this team to win it. I guess it wouldn't be as strange as when Greece won it though.

Anybody see The Sun this morning. I can't resist looking at the drivel they write whenever I go into the newsagents and on about page 4 and 5 they had a mock up of Harry holding the World Cup. :fp:

Then backs up that point with what happened in Euro '96.

More stellar work from The Alien.

He could well end up back at Spurs. Or retire.

I'd only say in a season where it looked like your team was going to win the league would you refuse England. Tottenham will not win the league.

I could see him possibly retiring after the England job to be fair (should he get it of course!). Maybe stay until Euro 2016 or the WC 2020.

I shouldn't be shocked but I am, i actually can't believe the Sun have dug up an 18 year story on Stuart Pearce.

The Alien? :fp:

I also didn't say it would happen. Just a concern. Also I mentioned Germany too. Stuff was happening before we lost with our lovable travelling fans.

More stellar work from the guy who seems to not read my posts properly....ever.

Anyway I'm bored of you now. No point derailing this thread anymore. Let's just say we both don't like each other? Deal?
