Cracking win for Arsenal, they play Chelsea next don't they? So does that put Liverpool 7pts off 4th? :( Not good enough.

The fight for fourth is going to be very interesting. Spurs must be loving it, a win for them today really gives them daylight.

If Newcastle pull out a win, they could be 4th.

Spurs for me will get 3rd. Then it's a fight for 4th. Chelsea Arsneal being the most likely, Both Liverpool/Newcastle will be there or there abouts come the end. Safe to say, ' The Big 4 ' has well and truly been smashed apart this season.

Why did he sack Ancelotti again? Was it simply because he wanted the Champions League? :fp:

It's interesting because all the teams have big flaws. Arsenal aren't fantastic in defense, Liverpool struggle to score goals. Chelsea seem at odds and ends all over the pitch and Newcastle are playing great but there's questions about how much depth they have.

Could be there Del Bosque moment. Although to be fair the Ancelotti sacking wasn't nearly as outrageous.

If Liverpool buy some Wingers who can beat the first man, then we'll be there next season i think. Our defence has been pretty good, Dagger and Squirtle are the best Center backs in the League. Fact.
Well, they where before today :fp:
Arsenal need 4th if reports are true about Van Persie.
Chelsea need to get 4th other wise i think it could be the end of AVB already.

Man city will of course spend big,
Man united will buy a young lad who no one has ever heard of for a quid and a twix and he'll be the best damn thing ever :x
Spurs have to keep hold of Bale and Modric. Simple as that, That's where they need to build from.

Football

True  You could argue that Madrid have only just in recent times recovered from sacking Del Bosque.

It's a ruthless business at the top, part of me thinks AVB should maybe get more time but if they don't make it into the Champions League next season, you can most certainly seem him being sacked. If he gets sacked...how much would Roman have spent on AVB? The release clause, the money to sack Ancelotti and possibly the money it costs to sack AVB.

Pretty much agreed on all fronts (bar Skrtel and Agger). Although I'm sure fans of those three struggling a little this season will disagree, I think the Top 4 being cracked open a little is doing wonders for the season.

Dowd had a good game actually.

According to someone I know who reffed up to Conference level and was a linesman up to FA Cup/Championship level said that Dowd is useless and wasn't sure how he ever made it to such a high level.

Very glad we won today but still annoyed that we can't keep clean sheets and can only win games if we score 3 or more goals. I was going to go today but decided against it. Wish I had gone now.

Man City away next. Easy. :shifty:

Phil Arundell on Twitter: "I've spotted Chelsea's cunning plan - you don't have to worry about UEFA financial fair play rules if you're not in Europe."
