Ouch. You have to feel sorry for him.

And of course, Mourinho wanting to manage in the Premiership again doesn't help him.

I felt that Chelsea must not do anything rash, like sacking him. He needs to mould his own team, and be firm with his authority. Have a look at Mick McCarthy, his chairman went into the dressing room and gave them a telling off and thus undermining the manager. It's happening at Chelsea too.

Would Jose Mourinho be happy if Roman did that to him? He strawberry floating wouldn't.

And the soon Chelsea let the current manager to settle, offload fringe players and rebuild it. Also Torres need to go. It isn't working for him.

Not that surprising tbh, Mourinho is well known to build very close relationships with many of his players, I would say he's probably still in contact with some of his old Porto and Inter players.

I wonder though is that such a big deal as some of the press are making out? Of course unless Mourinho is telling players to deliberately underperform  Then surely it's just a case of friends keeping in contact with one another. As you said, he gets very very close to players as manager. I agree with Wedgie though. The temptation would be to sack him if they fail to make it for the CL..but i do think he needs time to really build his own team and ship out some dead weight.

Barca don't have a great away record in Europe in recent times but i think they'll come away with a 2-1 win tonight. You can tell Leverkusen are trying the closing down tactic...but you can't keep it up for the full 90. Barca did well to keep possession under some pressure there. Incidently Mess will become the top knockout stage scorer if he scores here today. Still got a little way to go though to catch up with Raul  as all time top scorer.

Couldn't miss Shelvey at one point, once he took his hat off he was a like a beacon on the field!

Do you have a link to a larger image? Can't quite make it out.

anyone know a stream for the southampton game cannot find one at all.

By the way, a yellow card, red card and penalty all in a minute.... only in the Championship!

"I signed Boogers off a video" - Harry Redknapp.

He used to be a bit of a gooseberry fool boss really.

Yeah I agree it's really not a big deal, but of course anything to make it look like AVB is in trouble.

NORTHAMPTON ARE WINNING. IF THEY HOLD OUT, THIS WILL BE THEIR SECOND HOME WIN ALL SEASON.

I'VE BEEN THERE FOR NEITHER.

Southampton have gone down in my estimations tonight. Disgraceful play acting and fouls, Billy Sharp in particular was dreadful. Still a good point after playing 70 minutes with 10 men.
