City looking ordinary, well done Chelsea, now the media might stop wanking themselves off about City for one night and give some kudos to Liverpool.

We're gonna win the league.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Pretty sure Liverpool have been praised from the rooftops for their football. Klopp is a media darling, the pundit chairs are packed with ex-Liverpol players, no-one likes The Sun, your lot have got it easy ffs

All the BBC pundits have more or less handed City the title and have also reckoned Liverpool have been average.

No one likes the rag cos it’s gooseberry fool, nothing to do with Liverpool.

It’s not like Chelsea fans to act like banana splits.

I seen that live it was horrid. He was boo’d everytime he touched the ball, he gets that at Anfield for forcing a move to City but no idea why he gets it at Chelsea.

Still don't honestly feel like we've played like we did in the last half of the season yet. Which is exciting. As someone said earlier, it seems we have a Plan B. Or at the very least coast until 60 minutes and then turn it up a little bit and steam roll people.

Mo is boss.
VVD is top 3 CB in the world.
Alisson is the best keeper in the league.
Milner can do a job in any position.

Nabby and Fab are coming into their own which is obviously a massive plus.
I miss Ox :( He'd be amazing for us right now.

It's because he's black.

That’s unfair. They’d also do it if he was Asian or Jewish.

It's such a given that, if that guy is indeed being racist, two black people in the crowd (I think there's a black lady stood behind him, and there's also a black gentleman to his left) don't even react to it. How utterly strawberry floated in the head do you have to be to put up with gooseberry fool like that? To say nothing of all the other people who then feel empowered to join in, and the rest of them who just stand there and say strawberry float all. I'd ban the strawberry floating lot. Him for being racist, them for all but enabling his shitty attitude.

I'm awful at lip reading. All I can see is him moving his mouth. Although from the aggression shown by all of them in that video I wouldn't put it past them all to be saying something racist.

Some are claiming he says “Manc banana split” but I don’t believe that for a second. It’s pretty clear the first word is “black”.

I agree. Especially the Kieta and Fabinho are starting to look like the real deal, and also seem to be slotting in just right. It's been a while settling them in, but it's been promising these last few games.

We've shown glimpses of last season, in 5 or 6 games maybe (although I've missed 3 or 4 games), which seemed like a drop in form, but I'm starting to think it's been engineered that way to conserve energy, and build solidity. Can't argue with top spot after 16 games with record points tally (for us). The city game over xmas is going to be incredible.

That's a shocking decision for Anguisa's second yellow.

We’re not destroying teams like last season but it’s weird watching Liverpool with a good goal keeper. Hope we batter Napoli not least to get that attacking form back.

I think Liverpool have received sufficient praise. At times they have been average but have still won on more than a few occasions. That bodes well because typically in other seasons they've lost points in those games.

They're genuine title contenders now. Realistically I think city will have too much quality and will win it again but Liverpool may well push them close. Tricky game against Napoli first. Negotiate that successfully and a win against us and they'll go into the Xmas period on a high.

Hopefully Napoli will dick on them and we get a cheeky win.
That'd be nice. Difficult though against a team that has the best keeper in the league, a CB in the top three in the world and the best front three in Europe. Apparently.

Liverpool are probably the last team that have anything to complain about in terms of their media coverage. It seems every other pundit has a Liverpool connection.

The second leg of the Copa Libertadores played out exactly like a game of FIFA 10 played at 2am by me and my brother. Not as much animosity in the build up maybe.

Shame Boca lost given the circumstances.
