Don't expect a high-scoring game. Last 5 league meetings at Anfield:

1-0
1-2
0-1
0-0
0-0

Fun :dread:

Just watched clip of GaryNeville talking about Raheem Sterling on MNF and he was excellent. Hit the nail on the head in terms of racism in football media. Fair play.

Personally don't think the first two statements are far off the mark. Ederson is the only one who is up there with Alisson for me, or the other way round. Whatever. I don't think De Gea has been much this season at all. World cup included. I'm fully expecting him to make some absolute worldie save at the weekend now though.

VVD is easily up there. I genuinely believe that he'd get in ahead of pretty much every other CB in the game. He's legit top tier. Not just for his defensive qualities, but for his organisational skills, his leadership skills and the simple fact that he's making a bang average player ( Lovren ) Look capable.

De Gea is comfortably the best keeper in the prem, followed by Lloris, Becker and Ederson in no particular order.

Congrats Splurts and Lolerpool. Maybe we'll get an English name on the trophy this season.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Form is temporary, etc etc.

De Gea is the most talented keeper in the league for me.

Great night for Liverpool and Spurs - was pretty tense!

Great result for Spurs and pool.

Good representation in the last sixteen.

De Gea is the best keeper. Given the 25 different defensive permutations he's played behind this season he's done very well.
Alisson is a great keeper and was a great signing.
He isn't as good as De Gea though.

A goalkeeper is only as good as the defence in front of him (and quite often when put behind a crap defence, they appear to do a lot more good than bad, a la Pickford at Sunderland)...

The defense in front of them hasn't as much to do with save percentage, which, at 86% means on top of other stats about clean sheets and distribution, Alisson leads the rest (this season).
