Makes sense. The biggest team in London vs the biggest team in Barcelona 8-)

I’m rapidly getting to the point where I am done with Lloris.

Sissoko's been so gooseberry fool. His earlier shot was hilarious.

Napoli deserve to win that, not a good game for any Liverpool player at all.

Hope that will wake them up.

Secret to outsmarting Klopp: tell him you're playing 4 at the back and then play 3

I don't think Liverpool were tactically 'out smarted' the team as a whole was way below par, they played the same against Chelsea. The Chelsea game was end to end sure but Liverpool were very poor and didn't get near where the level they can play at, I'm hoping they'll hit that level against City. Napoli are not that good at all tbh, especially offensively so it's quite a galling defeat but a deserved one.

Declan Rice has declared for England after playing for us since he was 16 and even making the first team for 2 friendlies. I hear he gets 1m from Nike if he plays for England but it's still quite annoying that we took the chance on him only for England to reap some of the benefits.

He's English born and bred with English parents though. Selecting him for the U16s isn't so much taking a chance on him but instead trying to nab him at a young age while he's available. Wales do it plenty and if it works out great but I don't think you should be annoyed by it when it doesn't.

I can't be annoyed that a good player has decided to join England?

Ok man. :|

Yes that's understandable of course. I thought you were saying you were annoyed by England swooping in and taking him, which they're entirely in the rights to do, because he should be playing for England first.

Fair enough but he said otherwise in various interviews but I don't hate the lad, he's only young.

Celtic are getting an absolute doing here - they’ll be lucky not to concede a few in the second half.

It doesn't look bad, but I think it looks more appealing because of United and Spurs' monstrous midriff lines this season. Were we in red shorts against Vorskla? If it's a European variation all season then I'm against it. White shorts > red shorts.

Missed a lot of the first half as I had an incident involving toddler vomit this evening (actually four incidents and he tried to eat the last one :dread: ). Really think we needed that Smith-Rowe goal as we've been let off the hook a few times.

Arsenal have been pretty poor if Qarabag could finish it could easily be 3-3

Litmus test for West Ham tonight. Have we fully turned the corner or have we just had a few good results? The performances certainly have me thinking the former, but a positive result tonight will convince me.
